Okay, so this couch is absolutely amazing. It sits higher than I thought, and it is a LOT bigger than I imagined. I live in a small one bedroom apartment in downtown Chicago and it takes up half of my living room. (I'm not complaining.) I was slightly worried because I live by myself and not near friends or family, and some of the reviews mentioned that they leave the furniture in the boxes curbside and tell you to "deal with it." Well, I think that is mostly because it is dependent upon the freight carrier. Mine called me when it arrived at their facility, we set up a time for drop off. I gave him specific instructions to go to the alley behind the building and my instructions were followed perfectly. Now, he even was willing to help me bring my furniture up to my apartment (no extra cost). So really, it depends on what freighter is bringing you your delivery. The only issue I had was getting the furniture out of the boxes (again this was my problem, I live in a small apartment). Assembly was easy. It only took me 30 minutes to have the couch fully assembled and in place. The most tedious and time consuming part was putting the feet onto the bottom of the couch. Some had problems finding the holes, but all of mine were visible. If you have an issue, just feel around for the hole and you can punch out the fabric with a pen or pencil to bolt in the feet. The sections also lined up perfectly, the pins snapped into place and I slid the couch into place. So here are the breakdowns of the pros and cons of the couch: Pros: It looks very very nice. It is firm and comfortable to sit on. There is enough room for 5-7 grown people to sit on. I can't speak to durability yet, however the faux leather appears to be extremely tough. I don't plan on taking any knives or blades to it, and it doesn't feel so tight that it will rip apart after use. I am 6'5 and I can lay out comfortable on this couch. The headrest on the end is very comfortable with a pillow and keeps you from folding pillows in half to prop your head up. I have a hardwood floor and area rug. A concern was the couch moving when I leaned up against it while sitting on the floor. The couch did not move. The little rubber feet on the bottom of the legs certainly help. This couch is so comfortable, I fell asleep on it during the first hour of testing it out. (slept for 4 hours, didn't even notice it) Cons: If you sit between the cushions, I found there to be a slight comfort issue. This isn't a big deal because there are a ton of places to comfortably sit. The headrests are a little tricky to work. The other reviews will tell you the same. It's faux leather. If you are constantly shirtless or lounge around your apartment in the buff, this couch will grab you and it will be like peeling your skin off when you try to get up - Especially on humid days. If you or any guests sleep on it, I recommend laying a blanket down underneath. My biggest issue was with the feet. this couch is hard to move with an area rug. The feet grab onto everything and make it difficult to slide. While this is great in keeping your couch in place, set up is a pain. But after you work through the set up and placement, it is sturdy and ready to be sat on. Hope this review helps! ... show more

    • Looks nice but, Seriously forget using this couch as a real couch.
I loved the price when I bought it, but hate this couch. Very uncomfortable, had it for over a year and the stitching is letting go, the head rest / arm rest on the end stopped being adjustable just lays flat. There is an indent in the center where mostly everyone sits seems like it will cave in soon. I should have returned it when I had the chance. I do not believe it will last another year. The couch I had before this is now in the basement 15 years old and it is starting to look better than this one. ( note: it went through my kids growing up with a dog that died 2 years ago so it took some abuse and it only cost me $170 more than this one) but this piece of junk has seen nothing but gentleness and its falling apart already. Not worth half the price. maybe if some one needs a show couch that will not be touched, because it does look nice as a contemporary piece for some interior designer that just needs it to make a room look good in a picture. Seriously forget using this couch as a real couch. If you want to sleep on it, it's less comfortable than a carpeted floor. This was the first and is the last time I ever buy a couch on line.     • Nice sofa, aweful delivery company!
I bought this sofa for a small apt I have & it looks great! I'm told it's holding up well to a family of three very nicely. They found it a bit stiffer than expected but says it's no problem & they're getting used to the feel of it. They also said it's very comfortable overall. At any rate, it's better than a sofa that loses it's firmness the first time you sit on it & then you have to deal with 'dips' left in every cushion. Excellent deal for the price! The only downside to this purchase is the company Amazon uses to deliver it. The 1st time it came in it had a huge whole in the box that of course went through to the couch. I truly think they sent it like that on purpose because of the trouble I had with them earlier over the phone - this is the Portland office I'm talking about. I have to admit the folks out of Texas handled the situation much better the 2nd time I had it delivered. Also, the driver himself was very nice & helpful but the company he works for bites! Avoid CEVA deliveries if you can!!! ... show more

So where to start...I love this sectional! It's very comfortable and seems durable and sturdy for the most part. I thought since it was a contemporary leather couch that it would be more for looks than comfort but was very pleased with it. If you read any other of the reviews, you know that the delivery company won't bring it further than your front door or garage and yes it is very heavy. I have 2 flights of stairs in my apartment and I had to get it from the garage which is on the first floor the the living room on the second floor. Although it was beyond challenging I managed and I'm an average size female. (5'5, 175lbs) The couch is very easy to assemble however there weren't enough holes for one leg of the couch. I was able to make my own hole and screw it tight enough for the couch not to wobble or fall. It was scratched in the corner coming out of the box but nothing noticeable or big. All in all I think this sectional was a great buy for a great price. It's something very low maintenance and can jazz up a room easily. I am very satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

I love the style and the amount of seating it offers BUT! The seat width in the direction the but to the thighs are lying on the seat, its short, if only it was a few more inches out it would be more comfortable. I dont mind the firmness either. And the other thing is the legs. I didnt bolt in all the nails yet but i still feel sketchy about it being 100% studry, but we'll see once O add the screws (the foundation didnt have holes to put the other screws so I have to buy a drill, to drill the nails through the legs, No biggie to me though) If you plan on having a lot of guest or have more than 2 people having to use the couch, i would strongly suggest you find a couch in stores, not this couch & honestly not online.     • First time buying a couch online; a resounding success.
Two months in and this couch is holding up VERY well to our use and three, small little dogs. Nothing has torn, and the quality is pretty outstanding for the price (less than $650 at the time of purchase). The only slight downsides are some of the alignment for the legs are not 100% perfectly aligned, but honestly I've run into this on much more expensive couches from brick and mortar stores so it's not that big of a deal. Also, the hooks that hold the two pieces together WILL rip off if you try moving this couch on your own without un-hooking them. That sounds like a "well, no duh" kind of statement, but you'd be surprised how many people rag on the quality of something because they weren't patient enough to do something the right way. The only other downside is that of preferences. This couch sits a little lower than most, but it's not super dramatic, and the feel of the faux leather on skin isn't smooth by any means. It kind of sticks to you if you rest on it for a long period of time. It's not super uncomfortable by any means, but to some it could be. Delivery was fast, and our delivery service (it wasn't FedEx or UPS but a carrier like Pilot who was local for bigger items such as this) was outstanding. The delivery guy brought it up to my porch, and even brought the boxes inside my house. People really shouldn't ding a product because the delivery guy was a jerk. Amazon really has no control over that. Overall, definitely one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. ... show more

Just got this today - Delivery - Scheduled window was 2pm-6pm, came at 5:30pm. Came in three big boxes and they just leave it on the curb. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS DELIVERY ALONE. I live in an apartment and it was challenging to get it up to my room with my friend, and both of us are healthy athletic mid-20s guys. Each box weighed 60-100 pounds. ALSO THE BOXES ARE DIRTY. We took out the pieces outside my apartment, the couches on the inside are clean. Btw the delivery service was Saia Freight. - Construction - Did it alone, took about an hour. Had to rip through the bottom fabric cover to get to some of the screws. The screws came together pretty go. - The couch itself - It's firm, but I love firm couches and hate saggy, soft ones. And its so spacey! I can probably fit 5-6 people on this comfortably, and two full grown adults could sleep on here easily. We'll see how it holds up. It's a bit flimsy when moving it the pieces around though, so I wouldn't buy this if you plan on moving this couch around a lot. ... show more

    • Do not buy as your primary sofa
If you are the type of person that's excited to kick off your shoes and relax on your sofa when you get home, this isn't for you. It's very uncomfortable, stiff, narrow (almost like a bench), unsupportive and has a short back. There will be no Netflix and Chill on the Poundex (irony?). Do not buy this as your primary sofa. While it looks nice and sharp, and shipping was very fast, that's about all it has going for it. I bought it based on the positive reviews, but am very disappointed. I'm ok with the mediocre quality of the faux leather, as I wasn't expecting much. Given the price, I should've known better than to buy this thing. I have no idea how/why this thing has such positive reviews, but I'm pretty disappointed and now have to figure out how to return this thing.
