This was delivered two days prior to when I was told.I was out of state when it arrived. Luckily my neighbor noticed it in front of my garage and parked his 2nd car in front of it. Unfortunately it rained ,I mean poured, one day. I opened the box and found puddles on various parts of the machine.Okay, I dried them as I removed them and assembled it. The assembly was easy with good instructions. There is no oil in the machine or shipping carton. The instructions state it is shipped with oil ,without fuel. just don't start it without checking for and adding oil if needed.     • Powerful and Nicely-Made Gas-powered Snow Blower
I purchased this snow blower in the Spring of 2018. Have now used it on 4 occasions and the performance has been outstanding. It's handled snow in depths up to a foot without any problems. The electric start is a useful feature and the machine has started up without difficulty thus far. The construction is solid and I haven't experienced any problems with any of the features. There's been plenty of horsepower to handle wetter snow and the controls are easy to use. The machine is fairly heavy and can be a handful to maneuver in tight spaces but I knew that going in. All in all I'm impressed so far with this product and would buy it again. Also, purchased an inexpensive motorcycle cover that works fine to keep the dust off while stored. ... show more

    • Wonderful Snowthrower!
After the winter we've had in western NY state, a good snowthrower is a must. It was easy to set up and use. This is the 1st season that I've used it and as a 71 yr old widow, I find it easy enough to use.

    • Hard to start when it's really cold.
My only beef with this unit is that it's next to impossible to pull start when it's very cold (say 10F outside). Starts fine when it's warm outside.Fortunately I have the electric starter, and it requires a few seconds before it starts. Once it's warmed up it works great. I wonder if the choke needs to be adjusted. This is the second winter I have had it. The first winter it didn't seem to have any trouble starting, but it didn't get that cold. I've used it only about 8 times since I bought it. ... show more

I was worried about buying something this complex over the internet. But it worked very well. It was shipped as promised but got caught in the big winter storm of the year and was delayed so I could not be home to accept delivery. The shipping company held it until I returned then rolled the huge crated skid into my garage. Assembly was an easy about 3 steps. On first pull of the manual starter, the snowblower has been doing a great job. It is hard to maneuver because I did not buy the more expensive one with steering assist. ... show more

This is a BIG machine. You can walk through drifts like butter and it throws the snow across a three car driveway with ease. Nice construction. All it needs now is stereophonic music and a cappuccino maker. Seriously, very nice product; the engineers were thinking when they built this beast.

    • Broke twice in first year
Replaced belt on first use. Replaced another belt on about 6th use. Just order a replacement drive cable on about the 15th use. Works great when working but am afraid to work it hard.

The ski plates are too small for the size of the machine. The shoot is very floppy and the light could be brighter. Reverse could use more speed.
