This device does it all for me. Good light, wireless charging and time/date all right there beside my easy chair. The setup is a bit involved, but can be done if one follows the instruction sheet. Oh, the instructions appear to have been translated to English and are a bit funky, but good enough. The quality of construction is a bit lightweight, but matches the price, so all good. Initial review after opening. First, this is a great product. My list of comments, mostly negatvie, is not related to quality or features - all of those are outstanding. It's the size that isn't a fit for me; I will likely return. Caution on size expectations; small lamp; see pics. First impressions. Very light weight and small, which impact my review. 1) Cord is a thin usb type cord (plug included), about 4 feet long; not long enough to position the lamp without pulling it out of place; I plugged on powersrip so cord could hang down; not pulling base out of position. 2) Good: base can face forward, arm can tilt forward and light bar can rotate to side (great feature; most don't; you have to rotate the base). 3) Bad: if you touch the base or top or anything, the lamp moves; to plug into usb or position phone for charge, your other hand needs to hold the base, then reposition; very lightweight. 4) the light bar is shorter than I expected; it's about 11 inches, so the lighted area is a small task focused light. From the pic, if I want to read something left of laptop, it would be marginally lighted. 5) Overall, this lamp needs to be heavier, from the power cord pulling, to plugging in USB or positioning phone or pressing the buttons - it is not stable. Summary: If you are looking for small and lightweight and fully featured lamp, including the very nice rotating top light bar, this is a great product. You will bump it around anytime you do anything with it. I wish they offered a larger, more substantial base with about a 20" bar that extends the lighting area - then perfect . So far, I haven't found the perfect lamp. ... show more

As a student living in an overpriced dorm with non-functioning lights, I often relied on external light sources to get through my school years. Although I have never relied on candlelight, I have been able to test different lamps of varying quality. As a student, the variety was usually limited by price. Being affordable, this lamp's quality is well-priced. There are many aspects of this lamp that I like. Too bright? You can change the "softness" of the light or the brightness itself (including the brightness of the small screen on the lamp). Forgot the time or date and do not have your watch or phone next to you? The lamp displays those. It has a lot of extra functions, but this does not distract it from being a solid lamp to purchase for a late-night work session. My minor complaints are that it cannot swivel thus the base has to rotate with the lamp light which may be hard on a smaller/full desk and the charging station is not fast (I do not use it often). The item I'm reviewing is awesome. There are a lot of features and it is easy to install. Weightless. I don't know how it senses and where it senses from. I only downsize is the temperature displayed is incorrect. The setting for Calendar and Time is reset when the power is turned off. Las características electrónicas de la lámpara cumple con lo anunciado, lamentablemente llegó con unos arañazos en la parte frontal y junto a la pantalla. Todo lo demás funciona muy bien aunque estéticamente se observe la falla cuando se enciende la lámpara.
