Since I am tall, I find myself slumped over a lot when talking to other people. I find myself with bad posture due to constantly looking down or bending down when with my kids. This has been a helpful reminder to keep my shoulders back and chin up which has decreased some of the pain in my neck. I just wish it was a little more padded with the strap near the armpits as I have often had to take the brace off early due to it being uncomfortable. Otherwise, it has been great.

It was a little too tight for me. I did use the extension piece that was included but it was still a bit too tight for my liking. However, it does help me by pulling on my shoulders to remind me to straighten up.

Working in food service, I spend many hours neck down and back curved over my notebook and monitor. I purchased this as a solution to my increased poor posture and to prevent humpback development. It forces one to squeeze their shoulder blades which is a great way to keep the back muscles engaged since the body wants to arch forward. There was some loss of feeling on my initial wear but one adjusts quickly. The bands are loose enough to move the torso and arms in front but it will cause discomfort from the band rubbing along the armpits especially the more you tighten. There are covers to counteract but they do not do much with excessive movement. Unsure of real results, will need prolonged use to tell.

What I liked about this posture corrector was the fact it eliminated my back pain as I am a fork lift driver 8 hours a day and we tend to slouch. It kept my posture and held my shoulders back. What I didn't like was the fact it squose my ribcage and caused a different issue with my ribs. I don't think any other device like this would be any better as it has to wrap around the ribs. Thus the three stars. My next plan is to strengthen my muscles via you tube.
