I ordered several posture correcting support ranging from $15 to $65 and this one from Shaperky was right in the middle pricing wise, but was my favorite of the bunch to actually use. The quality was noticeably better than the cheaper ones, but right up there with the more expensive ones. But where this support really stands out from all of the others is the adjustability and comfort. It is the easiest to adjust while wearing (I make a lot of minor adjustments if I'm eating, changing from sitting/standing, etc.). Having separate straps for adjusting fit (velcro strap across torso) and tension on the shoulders (velcro bands located on either side below your armpits) is such a nice feature that is missing from all other supports I tried. The mechanism for pulling the arm straps down to prevent them from digging into my armpits and creating discomfort is another feature noticeably absent from the other supports I tried. It's clear that a lot of care and research went into the design of this support and it really makes all the difference. The only downside I've found with this support is that since it has the option for the hard support along the spine (which I personally don't use), there is a lot of extra material in that area that can be a bit awkward if sitting back in a chair or laying down, but getting into those positions is generally against the point of wearing this in the first place so it doesn't really matter IMO. I ended up returning all other posture supports except this one, which I keep at my desk and use regularly, and a basic $15 support that I keep at my bed for the occasions where I feel I need some support while watching TV and am too lazy to go to my desk to get my main one. ... show more

I have used this for a almost a year and I continue to use it. I use it for retraining my muscles so I only wear it for about 3 hours when I do. I have been through many different ones and I never tire of this one. Has the most support, adjustability and overall comfort and effectiveness.

I have only tried for 2 days but think it is going to help to straighten my posture. Would have given 5 stars but had to return first shipment. I received a returned item that was not cleaned properly. However, they immediately made good and had replacement in my hands in 2 days.

Admit it. We all look at the best reviews (5 stars, does it work?) but mostly the worst (1 star, definitely want to know what's wrong with the product). Who reads 3-star reviews? I know I don't, but that's what this is... Let me start with the bad. I have an athletic physique but slumped shoulders from lots of time hunched over a desk and computer. Thing I hate #1: Ordering. What size is correct? They tell you to order based on your waist size, which is stupid, because the lower strap circles your chest, just under the pecs. Hardly your waist. I have a 30" waist. I ordered the Small per the instructions. For anyone who isn't shaped like a soda can, where your chest and waist are the same size, measure just under your pecs/breasts. Thing I hate #2: Since my chest was on the larger size of the "small", there is this weird velcro extender strap. The velcro barely grips. So, this is probably for someone with a 27-33" chest, then they give you this piece of material and say it's up to 39". Thing I hate #3: The whole "tightening" contraption is made of elastic material. I expected it to be more like a backpack shoulder strap with high pull resistance. This material feels more like a tensor bandage. You put it on and then pull two horizontal straps to tighten, which pull back your shoulders through some goofy triangles (functioning almost like a fabric pulley). The problem is that the elastic material stretches more than it pulls. Maybe if your muscular skeletal system has the resistance of a wet noodle, this will work for you. For me, I feel no tension pulling my shoulders back and helping with my posture. I think I would be better off with a backpack and 20lb of weight pulling on the shoulder straps. So, with all this negative things to say, why even 3 stars? Well, it's cheap. It's not even worth me returning for less than $20, and I can't say I was expecting too much. Second, at the very least I'm cognizant of the shoulder straps so maybe mentally it will help me keep my shoulders back. Certainly isn't helping through resistance. ... show more

So I purchased two braces both the one reviewed here and this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BZ444CJ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1. This brace is definitely the more comfortable of the two. The larger brace was much bulkier and stiffer with a very large back plate. This brace is much more flexible with side adjustable straps, better padding on the shoulder straps and elastic shoulder straps. Being more elastic they don't cut in but also don't hold your shoulders back as tightly. They serve as a reminder with a much lighter tension. I do think it is enough to keep you in a better postural position. I tried both braces above and below a shirt. Neither was particularly comfortable in that fashion. Overall I decided to keep the one being reviewed here as felt the tension was sufficient to pull shoulders back without cutting in or being uncomfortable. ... show more
