I was very excited to get to check this wireless tattoo pen kit out. I own two other types of pens and previously was using the standard coil machines to do tattoos. This kit comes with everything you would need as a beginner or even novice artist. You get two batteries which is really helpful, the ones I purchased previously only came with 1 battery which puts a very small time constraint on what you can get done. The batteries are supposed to last 6 hours on a full charge, so far I have not done anything large enough to test that claim but I am still on 80% after doing two small tattoos and messing around in the fake skin included in the kit. Another plus both batteries came with a full charge. The skin isn’t the best quality but for the price it isn’t terrible. Same goes for the ink, but again for someone just starting out, especially if you’re not sure if tattooing is something you’re full in on yet, this is perfect. I would recommend that anyone who is serious about learning to tattoo also get a thermal printer to utilize the transfer paper included with the kit so you can make your stencils and practice on the skins you get. The needle carts are also pretty impressive for the price point. I haven’t found any with flaws so far and they work well. They hold a decent amount of ink, last a decent amount of time before dulling and run smoothly in the pen. They’re pretty quite as well. I wouldn’t recommend using the included inks in human skin. I mean, you can but I can’t speak on the vibrancy over time but you get a nice selection of colors to start out with if you don’t already have your own stock of inks.

I bought this POSEIDON kit on a whim because it was $29.99 and had two wireless batteries (most kits at this price only give you one wired power supply). After putting about 15 hours on it doing practice skins and then my first few real tattoos on friends, I can confidently say it’s one of the best beginner kits I’ve ever used. What’s actually impressive: • The pen itself runs smooth and quiet, zero vibration in hand, good power (I run it 7-9V for lining, 6-8V shading), stroke feels like ~3.5mm, perfect all-rounder. • TWO 1400mAh batteries is clutch – one charges while you use the other. I get 4–5 solid hours per battery at medium voltage, which is plenty for a full session. • 20 mixed cartridges (1205RL, 1207RL, 1209RS, 1207CM) – all sterile, flow great, no bad needles in the batch. • 11 inks included (10×5ml colors + 30ml black) – the black is surprisingly dark and heals nice, colors are vibrant enough for practice/learning. • All the extras you actually need are there: practice skins, transfer paper, grip wrap, ink caps, even a little brush for mixing. It’s legitimately complete. Why only not 5 stars: • The pen is plastic (not aircraft aluminum like $100+ machines), so it feels very light — some people love that, but I prefer a little more weight in hand. • Inks are decent beginner inks, but the colors fade a bit faster than Dynamic or Eternal (totally expected at this price). • Instructions are basically a one-page sheet; if you’re a total newbie you’ll still need YouTube. Bottom line: If you’re just starting out or want a super cheap travel/beater setup, this kit is stupid good for $30. I’ve already done 6 real tattoos with it and it’s still running perfectly. For the money, it’s unbeatable. When I upgrade to a $200+ machine I’ll still keep this as backup because it works that well. Highly recommend for anyone dipping their toe in. This is a really cool machine overall. The see-through internals give it kind of a futuristic look, and it’s fun to actually see how everything moves while you’re working. The pen itself runs pretty smooth and quiet, and both batteries hold up well. Being able to swap them out without needing to stop and recharge is a game changer, especially for longer sessions or practice runs. It comes with a lot of extras too, so it’s a nice all-in-one setup if you're just getting started or want a portable backup. The only downside is that the plastic body feels a little on the cheap side. It doesn’t seem like it would hold up to a ton of abuse, but for this price and everything that’s included, I’m not complaining. It still performs better than I expected and definitely doesn’t feel underpowered. If you're okay with something that looks cool and works well but might not be super rugged, this one's a solid option.

Nice machine for a beginner. Has a good strong motor and is lightweight. Love that it’s sheer. You get 2 batteries with chargers. The display only shows the battery level and voltage. The needle depth is pretty good. The base is on the slender side and perfect for someone who is starting out tattooing. They supply you with ink, table covers, a practice skin, gloves, grip tape and ink cups.
