This is a great lamp. It is exactly what I had been looking for and at a great price. The base color is more brown than beige, but that is ok with me. It is still beautiful. It was pretty easy for me to assemble the shade. I just laid it on a dish towel so the fabric would not get dirty, and then started each ring about a couple inches at at a time and was able to see that both sides were evenly stuck from the edges as I was going along. You can stick and unstick it as you go along to re-straighten it if you need to. It came out perfect! It is on my nightstand, and I just keep the seam side facing the wall…. The first lamp I received did not have the shade included, but I asked for a replacement from Amazon and got it in two days! All in all a beautiful lamp. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would definitely recommend it! ... show more

Didn't know the lamp doesn't come assembled. The shade linen was rolled up and had to be attached to the metal rings. On/Off switch was hanging outside of base. For the money, not worth it. We returned it. Found a very similar style at Hobby Lobby, and it was less expensive!
