Lamp is great. Has a solid feel to it. Not flimsy or easily knocked over. Uses a single bulb and has an on/off switch. The lamp shade went together fairly easily (took 4 hands). Be careful not to crease the really nice linen shade. The Velcro works well.

This is a very nice table lamp. I wouldn't call it "high-end" looking, it's a little plainer than I was anticipating, but I guess if you're putting a lamp in your farmhouse, you're not looking for bling. It was quickly assembled by my wife who got to the package first. I asked her if she had any difficulty assembling it (as I knew I had to review this product) and she rolled her eyes at me as if to say, "No, silly man." I think it took her ten minutes, meaning it would've taken me an hour or more. It's a simple design. Old school. Turn the knob, the light goes on. Turn the knob, the light goes off. Because I'm me, I instantly put a smart bulb in this and it works like a charm with my smart home app. I like the smart bulb because I can set the dimming on the bulb and make this lamp more versatile. I took some closeup pics so you can see the fabric on the shade and what the composite body of the lamp looks like. It's smooth and not rough and doesn't feel like wood -- it feels like your average composite material. If you like the look of this, I would definitely buy it. I can't really find a complaint to make here. It's a nice little lamp. See the scale of it next to the tissue box in the picture to get an idea of the size -- I think it's more "medium" sized and if you were expecting something more robust, you might want a bigger lamp. This one feels a little too big for a nightstand but a little too small to be the "living room lamp" on its own if you like a big showpiece lamp in that kind of spot. ... show more

    • Nice Farmhouse style lamp
I love the neutral color and heft of this lamp. The harp is steady, holding the shade in place. I have more lamps where the shade wobbles than I care to admit. Frustrating to say the least, so this is nice to not have a lampshade tilting to the side no matter how many times it's adjusted. Relatively easy to put together. The lampshade was the most involved as far as assembly. You may want another person to help you with this part?? Looks good in my office. ... show more

I like the lamp a lot! The base is solid and has a nice weight to it. The finish looks good and suits my decor. The lamp shade is a bit DIY, but assembled easily enough. I'm happy with the overall look, and the lamp seems well-made. My only hiccup is the current cost of the lamp - it seems a bit high for what you're getting, and assembling. ... show more

This mid century style lamp is a nice table lamp. It is a slightly beige painted wooden lamp. It is a decent size for a table. It can be used in a bedroom, living room, or any other room really. I chose to place it in my dining room for a little mood lightly instead of just the overhead light. It comes with a shade that has to be assembled. It is easy to assemble but I do not care for how it goes together. It has a slightly sticky textured surface on the two shade rings that stick to the fabric of the shade itself. It goes together pretty easy, but I have received other lamps that I have had to assemble the shade where it clips onto the rings. I find that easier and a little more secure. This is a simple but nice looking lamp and was just what I needed for my space. It uses a standard bulb and puts out a good amount of light with it. I'm using a smart bulb in mine so I can change the tone and brightness of the light. It looks just fine with a standard 60 watt bulb as well.
