I have begun the process of collecting and cataloguing my drawings to keep them more organized and better to display. I always cringe when people touch my sketchbook pages as the pencil can be distorted, so the clear pages are great for keeping my drawings pristine. I will be buying more of these.

they're nice binders but the plastic is kinda thin. it'll work if you're not needing to thumb through the pages a whole ton, but i got these to put art in for tabling in at conventions to let prospective buyers look thru my art, and people can be rough as they thumb thru the pages. i'm not entirely sure if the pages will hold up over time to that... alas, still nice otherwise for less rough-house-y type uses! ... show more

I looked, but didn't see where the polypropylene sheets have tested and passed PAT (Photographic Activity Test} to see if they are true archival sheets. The sheets appear to be made of polypropylene, though without the PAT it's difficult for me to say that they would absolutely work for archiving photos or documents. The chemicals in plastic can damage photographs, artwork and documents, so care is needed in deciding on how or what to place them in. Polypropylene is the correct material, so if what they say is true, this portfolio would be okay, but again.. no PAT. The portfolio itself looks and feels like a thin plastic ring binder, just without the rings on the inside. It would be great for presentations and things that would be housed temporarily within it. ... show more
