  • A nice looking storage solution for paint and small craft items
Style: Citadel/Vallejo 74 holes
The build process was quite intimidating at first with the amount of pieces and parts however after looking at the instructions and getting a feel for the rhythm it was really enjoyable to build! It was also shockingly sturdy for what I expected. It works pretty well for me and my warhammer painting but my only complaint is that I should have gotten a bigger one! ... show more

  • Easy Build, Sturdy, pricey
Style: Citadel/Vallejo 74 holes
Was looking to upgrade my hobby area. I bought one of these and a few other MDF paint holders. (Two broken token ones, and one no name copy of this). This was the easiest of all the kits I bought. It's sturdy, holds a ton of paint, and the little fasteners to hold the shelves in place are very nice. Definitely helps me keep everything organized and more functional for the hobby area. The one draw back that I have with it is the price. I found an identical version for less than half of what I paid for this one that is 95% as good as this. ... show more

  • Fairly sturdy and easily assembled, but the "accessories" are pretty useless
Style: Vallejo 105 holes
Significantly sturdier than Vallejo's option. Still brittle, be careful about applying too much force to the shelves and walls. But I didn't break it twice just putting the shelves in place, unlike the paint manufacturer's shelves. GLUE REQUIRED--don't listen to the word "recommended." If you want a stable unit, use wood or super glue. That said, the drawers could use another inch or two of depth to be useful. The brush holes in the top shelf are pointless as the bottom brush handle will hit the slope of the shelf beneath it. Physics turns this into a nice slide. I did try to use my Dremel to widen the holes, but the lack of a flat bottom defeats my work. As someone who wears a medium glove size, the included fig holders are far too small (and hard-edged) to be useful. If they were twice the length and distributed pressure better, that'd be great. ... show more

  • Organize
Style: Vallejo 105 holes
Bought this is a gift for my little brother And now I'm still throwing all this paints in a box and discriminately he can put them on his little rack display them and ensure they will not spill.

  • Nostalgia trip
Style: Citadel/Vallejo 58 holes
It was a great product. Had a good time putting it together. It took me back when I was a kid. Wasn’t expecting the fun

  • Looks good, easy to assemble, and sturdy when glued
Style: Citadel/Vallejo 74 holes
I was kind of dreading putting it together after assembling others that used rubber bands to hold parts together. This was a pleasant surprise as it used clips for assembly. It might be steady without glueing but I used white glue and the holder is solid and sturdy. Instructions are a bit cryptic and the parts are not numbered but if you look over the instruction sheet well before attempting assembly you'll be fine. (Helpful Hint - If you are gluing the holding clips as you build do not glue the clips (or even install the clips) for the top 1 or two levels until the top two horizontal support beams. Once the beams are in, Install and glue the clips in.) I also used a touch of glue where parts fit together. Once the glue dried I gave the unit a couple light spray coats of clear lacquer and looks great. I just bought a Second One!!!!! ... show more

Easy to assemble after looking at the diagrams and dry fitting each piece. I would highly recommend. I got the large Vallejo and the Vallejo/Citadel models
