I was never 100% sold on these balsa-wood looking paint holders. They looked really thing and fragile, like a stiff wind would just knock it all over. There's also fewer models for Vallejo paints, and none for Army Painter (which makes up most of my current paint collection). I needed a new storage solution, it was time to stop keeping these in the boxes and have something nice looking that is also easy to access when you're looking for specific colors, effects, washes, tones, etc. After a lot of internal back and forth, I went with the Plydolex Vallejo Paint Organizer. Even though it's specifically designed for the 17ml Vallejo bottles, I took a chance since the Army Painter bottles are just slightly bigger at 18ml. The Army Painter pots fit well, but not perfectly. When the product arrived I was excited to put it together, and to be honest I was a little intimated by the number of pieces and the sub-par instructions. Once I got started though, the assembly was seamless and quite easy to figure out. If you've got experience with puzzles, LEGO, or IKEA this build will not trouble you. The wood is thin and light, matching my expectations. I will tell you, when filled with pots and items, it does get heavy. The wood interlocks into slots and some pieces need to use what I call "keys" that further lock some pieces into place for secure stability. Once fully assembled, the piece is sturdier than I expected., and quite large. You may need to measure the area or space where you plan on putting this organizer before you buy, but definitely try to make it work - not only is it functional, it is pretty. I really appreciate the top shelf made to hold misc things, it's where I put several of my Citadel items, and the two small drawers (the organizer comes with optional drawer dividers) really help put this organizer over the top. Easily worth the money, and when I expand my paint collection there are compatible side-units for even more paint-holding solutions. Highly recommend! ... show more

My paints were stacked in a storage bin drawer that was not very accessible. This put them in accessible and organizational reach. It is well optimized - giving access to many paints and supplies with the least amount of space. Looking at other storage options, they were too bulky and cumbersome. Assembly was easy, and if you watch the video on the Amazon product page, is straight forward. I find it sturdy enough. I assembled in another room without glue, assorted the paints into it and then moved the whole thing into my work space. If someone wanted they could glue it together for increased stability. The little figure/item holders do fall apart and need to be glued together. I personally have to add something behind it - currently a piece of cardboard (from the shipping box); because it is up against a window and I don't want the sun ruining the paints and glue. ... show more

I bought this for my fiancé whose newest obsession is miniature printing and painting. While I love how excited he gets with new fixations, the amount of little paint bottles all over my house was a no go! Enter this product! This product took me about an hour to build. However! I made this harder on myself for not flipping the instructions over to show the diagram of all the pieces. Once I did that, it was super quick to build! Instructions say to use glue for sturdiest results. I did not use glue and it is still super sturdy. Does it wobble because I didn’t use glue? Sure, but it works and hasn’t broken even with all those paints on it. Overall, super impressed with the product so far and will not hesitate to buy again if it does break ... show more

This stand is very sturdy and pretty straight forward to assemble. I like the drawers and shelf space. I have two concerns, though. First is the holes for brushes. They are kind of small and there could be more of them. More importantly, the brush holes are basically useless because there is no lower platform for the brushes to rest on. Plenty of storage room, I have army painter paint, citadel and pathfinder paint bottles and it was able to hold all of it and still have more room. The drawers are perfect for all my paint brushes. Very sturdy after assembly. Even smells good, maybe cedar wood? It’s pretty easy to assemble so no complaints there ... show more

Perfect for Army Painter paints. Little tricky to assemble but if you're able to assemble Warhammer models you'll figure it out. Mine needed to be aired out though. The stain wasn't fully dried before packaging so it stank pretty bad.

I was expecting MDF what I got was a nice high grade plywood rack. The wood grain is beautiful. The parts separated exactly as they should. Assembly was easy. I bought two, one was very tight, the other I reinforced with white glue fillets. These are so nice looking it seems a shame to have them in my hobby room. Product went together easy enough. Make sure to follow instructions exactly as shown and you won't have much any problems. Holds together pretty solidly. I super glued the pieces that slide in for extra security. Holds all my P3 paint pots well but the P3 ink bottles are too large for the smaller top holes. The smaller top holes do hold Army Painter and Model Color paints just fine. Feels like a great product overall and fits my needs. My ONLY COMPLAINT is from one of the sliding drawers on the bottom. It appears the Manufacturer misaligned the cuts for the two sides on one drawer. So now I only have one drawer to use with my organizer. I am willing to make this a 5 star if this issue is resolved, as I think the product is exactly what I wanted. Update: 1/27/2023 I was able to reach out to the seller, their response was fast. The seller rectified the issue I had with my organizer and everything is great now. Product is holding steady, I move it almost weekly for my miniature painting sessions with my friends and I couldn't be more happy with the product. ... show more
