well, not what I expected. I was looking for a hard-sided portfolio to protect art and this will not do that. It is a soft-sided bag that will in no way do what I need it to do without having to put boards in it or something. I should have known, that is on me. Having said that if you need a bag that is a light, thin canvas that does not protect your art this is for you. It appears to be well made. all the stitching and the straps appear well sewn and sturdy. Now I have not put any weight in it because the soft sides would crush my art but it looks like it would be fine. ... show more

I don’t think he realized it is a soft canvas bag with not structural support but I was able to slide what was left of old one inside for the added support I needed for my use. I expected this to be an art bag with reinforced sides to protect paper art pieces from bending but it's not. It is essentially a portfolio case-shaped duffle bag. That said, it's well made and is HUGE. Instead of returning it, I am going to reinforce the inside-sides with rigid cardboard covered with some type of archival quality paper or (preferably) fabric. ... show more
