Okay, so I've been hunting a while for some containers for my Legos, and I've been trying to find something more reasonable. Something that doesn't take up a lot of space or require you to have an entire garage, dedicated room, or mancave to utilized (you know the ones, the 40x40 that you can hang on the wall). I move a round a lot, I travel, and Lego isn't the mainstay in my life - so I needed something reasonable. This is hands down the best possible container you can get. I did a lot of searching through the reviews, and like one reviewer said you should MARK THEM so that you can know which level goes where. I literally used a plastic sticky note I had for office folders, and each a unique color labeled "1", "2", and "3" - simple. And because this thing is so sturdy I'm not worried about it getting destroyed in any scenario in my room. The latches are VERY secure - I was reeeeeaaaally hesitant to take a chance on this because pictures only go so far on Amazon. But by my judgement, the plastic looked really thick, and the latches looked really thick, so I figured this would be good. And I was right! Could not be happier. The depth of these compartments were perfect for me. I had ordered tons of Lego pieces from Brinklink to essentially start over with likeable parts I know I'll use. I think I have like 4500 pieces total, and most of them fit inside two total containers (granted I use a lot of tiny pieces so keep that in mind, just my build style). The only reason I say "most" is because I purposefully left a specific color type of lego outside of the group - otherwise all of them would fit in there plus more room, I'm just organizing. The only thing that's not really a con is the image that shows 10 compartments. This is the part where I was hesitant to purchase.... One image shows 6 compartments, and one shows 10. I thought perhaps there were additional dividers or what. To be CLEAR: this is only 6 compartments total - no dividers and no customization. For me it was enough to organize like-parts of Legos because I have a very specialized set of pieces that I can memorize. Hinges with other types of hinges, 1x1 tiles can go with 2x2, 2x1, 3x1, etc. You get the point. If you're really meticulous and want the by piece, by color, by size, then that's obviously the other type of organizers. If you want a good container that's manageable and can stuff in your closet (because Lego isn't the only thing you love in life, but still a quiet hobby) then these containers are perfect. I got two of them and I doubt I'll need more. Also to note (I know this is a long review) you can stack two containers on top of each other and they will latch. You will however (obviously) have a left-over top piece that you can either throw away or store. I personally just keep both separate, but if you wanna fuse them together and make a column to save space that is also possible. Sorry for the long review, I just wanted to be thorough for other Lego hobbyists like me who don't wanna spend a fortune on organization. Organization makes Lego building soooo much better but the containers these days are so expensive, and you don't have all the space to commit to one hobby that you spend only a healthy amount of time on. Even if it is a passion, these containers will suffice for a moderate builder.

This container works as advertised. I appreciate the color, the three levels, and the ability to adjust the container/slot sizes within by adding/removing adjustable 'panels'. I knocked off a star because I feel it's not going to last as long as I wish it would. The clasp at the sides doesn't feel hardy enough; the plastic feels thin-ish. I'm a hobbyist and won't be using this container as much so it's ok - I just have to be careful and mindful when locking/unlocking the tiers. I usually buy a heavier duty brand of container that has tiered levels but that brand doesn't make a container such as this one. That container only has two levels, it's smaller all around, and does not have adjustable panels to separate different thinga-ma-bobs. I use this container to store dried, small to medium molded flowers/butterflies/ leaves made from gum paste for cake/cupcake/cookie decorating. I like to make different molds at a time so that when I need a decoration, it's dried and ready to be dusted/lustered etc. When I ordered this, I was going to order two - one for myself and the other for my little girl's collection of Shopkins, My Littlest Pet shop, etc. I'm glad I ordered one to test out first. I don't believe this would last with a small child since they generally are not patient; they'd probably brake this container and/or need your assistance to help them close the tiers. If you have a child that's patient and/or older, this might work well for them.

Perfect container for all those barbie accessories! The dividers can be removed to fit Ken's shoes too! No more stepping on Barbie's sun glasses or hairbrush. My granddaughter had fun putting everything in the little compartments and it's no longer a struggle at clean up time!

The quality isn't ideal, but will work in a pinch... I ordered 2 of these cases and the top latch was broken on both of them, thankfully they are built to stack and latch together so I could put the 4 out of 6 tray together.
