The media could not be loaded. My daughter is teaching my granddaughter to sew. Her machine was not cheap as she uses it for her business so I got my granddaughter her own version but smaller. It is the perfect size for a six year old. It operates likes moms but is made for kids and not as delicate as the expensive one her mom owns. It has 12 different stitches to choose from and even the foot pedal to operate the stitch. It does forward ad reverse and even has a bobbin rewinder. There is a small storage drawer underneath which is also really cool . I wasn't expecting that at all. There is even a light on the machine and you can change out the foot as well. Its a nice lavendar and white color so perfect for any little girl.

This is my second attempt at reviewing what I was HOPING to be an excellent portable sewing machine suitable for NOVICE sewer or an older grade school child. The machine is lightweight with the majority of the parts plastic except for the needle, foot and fabric feed plate. The plug in power pedal is definitely child sized. The machine once again is jammed when I attempt to use it so it’s useless as well as disappointing for a second time.

I know how to sew but I couldn't get the machine to sew on medium to heavy material. Then I tried to sew a simple hem in a very lightweight sweater and of course it wouldn't sew even a simple stitch. Would not recommend this to anyone no matter age. Spend more money and get a better machine!
