Never, ever ever buy this Ice Maker! It work great for a few months. It stopped working. I even bought the extended warranty incase this happens. Unfortunately the manufacturer has no direct website or contact information. The warranty will not honor, fix, replace or even help with this oversized expensive paper weight. Super quiet perfect for our small condo, super fast and super convenient. I also Bought an ice holder tray for the freezer so we just make enough ice to fill that up and stick it In the freezer so that we don’t have to leave it turned on all the time. Ice tastes like nothing but ice no weird flavors, we do use filtered water in it not tap just as personal preference. Love this thing and would buy again! ... show more

This was really easy to use and it started making ice really fast. I wanted to love this but after the basket filled I emptied the ice into a bag and placed in the freezer, the cubes don't freeze very hard so they all were just a giant ball of ice like an hour later. I let the basket refill and by morning the ice was really sloppy and wet and melted super fast. This doesn't stay cold enough to just let it stay full on the counter and just have ice anytime. It's not very loud but definitely a noticable humming. ... show more

This is going to be great in our RV to eliminate ice trays. It begins to make ice shortly after I started it. Wish it would keep the ice frozen so I wouldn’t have to transfer it to the freezer. I’m going to enjoy this ice machine as I like the size it makes. I I would recommend this item. 07/18/2021 I used this at the beach in our RV and it was nice not to have to refill ice trays. Sad about the statement below, but it is true. There was a card inside for a $10 Amazon gift card. Sent in 3 times and email was good but the one they told me to send it go gave no response. I am truely enjoying my new Brighton counter top ice maker. Whether small or large ice cubes, I enjoy using my own bottled mineral water for the ice inside my drinks and smoothies. I choose this ice maker because it's completely flat on top and the control buttons are on the front panel. This unit is very easy to use, and works well. I've seen people write on here that the cubes stick together, then they have a big clump. I just empty them into my ice holder, wait a few minutes then just swish my hand in the freezer and they all separate and stay that way. It only takes about 7 minutes to get the first batch of cubes (bullet shaped) and fills up the basket in about 1 hour. ... show more

Our french door refrigerator/freezer has a built in ice maker - but nothing compares to these little ice nuggets! I originally purchased this to keep up on ice during a camping/fishing trip for quite a few coolers (instead of making runs into town to buy ice). I was very impressed with this AND how fast from start to finish you start to get ice cubes. I have had no issues, and always get compliments on our ice.
