This is an absolute beast!. Nothing you want yo put in a backpack and walk miles. It is heavy. It was my second test stove. I'm tickled with it. Unfortunately it's too heavy to easily haul. For camping like most people do it is stellar. Amazingly tough built. And u can remove top and use it as a firepit or grill. Best part is you can use almost regular sized firewood. Burn box is huge! I wish all the stove pipe pieces could be interchangeable. For the price you will be giddy. Add a semi decent hot tent and no matter the weather you can sit inside and enjoy a fire. I honestly can't say enough good things about it. My only bitch is I wasn't paying attention and burned my finger lol. No ten star rating available, but if weight isn't an issue. It rocks. Costs extra to buy it with a grill top. But I'm kicking myself for not getting that.

Super robust stove believe all the other reviews when they say it's Hefty and built out of very thick gauged metal, although rating it a three out of five I still recommend this stove over many of the others on Amazon due to its build construction and price. In my case the reason for rating it only three stars it's because I had to do a bit of modifications to it to work for my situation I am heating and RV space the first night setting it up and using it I got smoked out. Because I'm using this as a permanent heating solution rather than a pack and go tent stove I need to seal up all the gaps around the stove, it also needs a fire gasket around the door which let out a lot of smoke through its gaps as well. I know there's a science when it comes to wood burning stoves so I'm sure there's a little bit of learning curve for me but keep in mind if you are using this to warm up and enclosed space that it may need some modifications. Overall still very happy with my purchase though! I have photos attached showing you where the smoke escapes most and the gaps that need sealed. Update: after many sealant methods. The thing still leaks like a sive. Maybe you'll have better luck. Update update: now very displeased with this product:/ no matter the effects made in modification towards sealing all the gaps to reduce smoke have all failed. Including a proper sized chimney/smoke stack. I know have to change my rating to 1 star unfortunately.

This is a REALLY Well built Stove. Honestly, I can’t believe it’s selling for this little. It’s a solid Stove. I could probably even stand on it. I haven’t had a fire in it yet, but my only concern would be the slight gaps at the hinges, where the Stove folds. But that can be easily modified with a little dirt or clay, if it even becomes an issue. Although it’s a bit heavy, I absolutely LOVE this purchase. I highly recommend this Stove. Also, it’s beautiful to look at. Quite an eye catcher!

Does the trick. This is not a premium stove but drafts well. Using the front slats and the damper on the flue can be adjusted to burn well. Fits typical size firewood but you have to put one end in then the other. Holds 3-4 pieces depending on the size. I was a little disappointed by the impossible to remove stickers with letters on each piece on the outside so when it gets hot they burn.

Second wood hot tent stove, coming from the standard *cheap* ammo can type with the fold out grates. You know the one. Anyway, this stove is night and day. Thick aluminum and a great design, with just enough small details to make it shine. Example, the chimney feels really solid, but what is that nice little touch is it gets bigger towards the top. What chokes a stove out? Creosote. The bigger pipe on top effectively eliminates choking the stove out by this. The extra draft is obv a nice byproduct (or driver, shrug) of this. The pipe feeds into the stove, not over, any dripping will end up in the stove. To that the stove vents very well. Huge glass lets you see the this well. The “Air Curtain” … Amazing. It works *extremely* well. Damp or dry wood, doesn't matter. The glass is clear. All latches are spring loaded. Quality feeling dampener, gets warm but if you’re quick or have gloves you are good. Improvements to the company 1. Put a handle on the slide dampener! The tiny nub on the screw head can be difficult to move when the stove gets hot 2. Include guy lines for the stovepipe Not a deal breaker for me, but may be for some Thats it. Also, it was packaged well and i had no damage or missing parts. For the price its beautiful and functions night and day from the other stove. Will update if anything changes. A pleasure to use. Recommended.
