Worked exactly as described, the speed however tends to shake any carbonation out of suspension. Not a great solution for beer/mead bottle filling.

This thing works! Easy to operate, easy to clean. Racking is sooo much more convenient. I used a portable USB charger with it 5 times moved 20 gallons no drain on charger yet. Siphon is now history. I'm pumped!

Easy and practical for small processing

    • Poor Design
The jug we used to ferment the wine has a standard neck that our burping cork fit perfectly. However, the filter for this pumb did not fit past the top most opening. Thinking it just needed some persuasion to get in and out, the filter then proceeded to go into the jug, but could not come back out. Then it came off the hose and is not lost permanently at the bottom of my wine jug with zero wine being pumped. I would give this negative 5 stars if that was an option. ... show more
