This thing is just sheer luxury! Image being able to make the perfect cup of espresso anywhere, anytime! Whether you want to use a capsule, or your own grind, this lovely device will have you sipping a restorative and delicious beverage in no time. At your desk, in your vehicle, on your boat, with a goat, on a train in the rain and everywhere else you might have Green Eggs and Ham. Superior German workmanship makes this a top notch piece of equipment that works perfectly every time. My only complaint, and it is a pretty small one, is that they should have put the instruction details on it rather than making me consult the wee manual all the time. Otherwise zehr gut!

I live in SW Florida and it's hurricane season now. We had a storm travel past us recently and experienced some high winds. Power blinked out but came back quickly. Still, I have become addicted to my morning latte since I got an espresso machine a few weeks ago so when I saw this USB rechargeable espresso machine, I had to order it. I don't want to be without my latte if we get hit by a big one and are without power for a week! This unit works with ground coffee or with the older Nespresso-type pods. And it makes a decent latte, too. I've ordered a small supply of pods and stored them with the machine so now I'm ready for whatever Mother Nature tries to throw at me. Yes, I know I need power to recharge the unit. I have a small solar panel for charging my USB devices in the event of a power failure. The portability of this espresso machine makes it the perfect camping accessory, too. That has always been one of my complaints about camping in a tent. The coffee is always terrible. Well, no more. This does the job well.

I love this little espresso maker. It's small and portable in a nice case. It even has a little portable tamper. It gets plenty hot and makes great espresso. This was my first experience making my own espresso. I wanted to try it before committing to a large system, but also really wanted an on-the-go option. Now I can make my favorite frappes for my commute home. I've had the hardest time with restaurants getting it wrong and making it fresh with this is way better. Now I literally have a mobile coffee station in my truck. It's awesome! My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. So far this is working better than expected. It is supposed to heat the water to 205 degrees. I measured the reservoir at 195 degrees when the heating stopped. This is hot enough to keep my espresso from being sour. I tried it using hot water around 175 degrees and not using the internal heater. The espresso came out sour. It is best to use preheated water when able as this cuts down on the heating time. Once the water is hot it only takes a few seconds to brew a cup. I had no problem with the plastic pods I used. It made espresso with a nice crema. I will be taking this with me on some upcoming trips. I look forward to getting some higher quality pods to try with this machine. I do wish they would print an abbreviated set on instructions somewhere on the machine. However, if you remember 1,2,3 you should be good. 1 Long press is heat (Approximately 2 seconds). When it beeps several times the water is hot, the light also stops moving. 2. Press twice to brew. 3 Press three time to cold brew, skipping the above steps.
