My air conditioner went out. Although summer was nearly over, it was still very hot. I bought this item to get me through the end of the summer heat, and it worked! The water cooler looks like the image and works nicely. Adding cool packs really help to cool the rooms down quickly. The wheels make it easy to move from room to room. I recently purchased another a/c due to the current supply shortages. It's been really hot in California, and I have not had a chance to install the new a/c as yet (February, 2022), but in the meantime, the "cooler" has risen to the challenge! Just add water to the water-line and Ice pack or ice cubes, and it's "just-in-time" relief. The down side is that you have to monitor the water line so it does not go too low while running. I'd say it needs to be refilled every 6 hours. If one is sleeping through the night, waking up to fill the cooler with ice and water can be draining - but even with that, it's a blessing to have during a heat-wave. Hope this helps!

This is a huge waste of money and I am truly disappointed in this product. It does not cool a 150 sqft kids room. You add water and ice packs and the coldest we got it was 80 degrees. After the ice pack thawed it was back up to 90 moving hot air. We bought this for my son’s room since it’s on the sunny side of the house. With the black out curtains closed and the unit on, the coolest it would get was 80. It would not maintain it so we had to keep swapping ice packs. This is not worth the money. Good ole box fan here we come.

Purchased this for my small bedroom to help with the Florida heat and it works very well. I am a pretty big gamer so I have many devices generating heat on top of the naturally warm climate and this little guy has no problem dropping the temp in my room down anywhere from 5 - 15 degrees, depending on the time of day of course. It does take some prep and maintenance though, make sure you have a jug of water chilled and ice packs frozen to make sure it cools the air quickly. Also make sure to clean the water recepticle on the bottom once a week, it will start to develop mold (just like any damp area). Would recommend for small rooms.

This portable AC, not good I put the ice packs that come included , I freeze them first and when I put them in the water tank in half an hour the ice packs are already defrost, I even put ice and cold air does not come out maybe just a little cold but it doesn't last. Wow I said I'm going to spend on something that will last me for years, the noise ,maneuverability, height and weight are good, but coldness NO, sorry but I don't recommend this potable AC.

The media could not be loaded. Great unit however, one maybe two weeks into usage, it began to leak from the front, then it began to leak from the back where the filter is located as well. I never filled the water chamber to the fill line so I know it was never over filled with water. I hav even working with the seller for a few weeks and no resolution, only round and round of apologies for my inconvenience.

Really happy with this purchase! Nothing to install, just had to put the tires in, which was very easy. Easy to start. We put ice cubes and water in the tank and it worked so well. It cooled off the room fast. Water last all night. My son's room gets really hot, so this unit keeps it nice and cool. I love the fact that you could move this around anywhere in the room and it's quiet. My son is really happy with this unit and how fast his room cools off. We highly recommend this unit.
