You get a lot for your money with this system. The screens are a good size and don't take up too much space in the back of the car. Picture quality is above average for similar systems, as is the built-in sound quality. With an additional aux cable, you can connect the system to your car's audio system--it would have been a nice touch for Wonnie to include that in the box. If you want to connect the system to your car's audio, you'll need an aux cable. Set up was easy--the instructions are clear and the operator's manual is helpful. One thing that sets this apart from other systems is the mounting bracket that's included--this hard-mount system is infinitely better than a strap to the back of the headrest (but those are also included in case the hard mount doesn't fit your head rest for some reason). The screens attach quickly with a quick-release latch system, so getting them on an off is a breeze. If you want to remove the support that attaches to the head rest, you will need a screwdriver (you need one to install the bracket as well). When the screens are not attached, the bracket does not protrude into the back seat--a nice feature in case you don't want to take the mounting brackets on an off all the time. Loading a DVD is easy too--a small child can operate the system without help. The package came with a DC adapter with attachments for all over the world, so you can take this system anywhere. Also, it came with a 12V power adapter for use in the car. All in all, this is a great buy for someone in the market for a dual screen DVD system. ... show more

The only reason why this isn't a 5 star review is because the power cord doesn't reach the outlet in our minivan. The cord is 57 inches long and we need another 6 inches to reach. (So we use an adapter that has additional power ports which adds about 12 inches and allows everything to easily connect.) We have one forward facing child and one rear facing kid so I was worried about the cords not being able to reach both devices. Luckily they connect and have some cord to spare. The sound quality is great, we haven't had to go higher than 50-75% of the volume on car rides and can hear it easily from the front seat. I love the flexibility of either snapping the screens into the insert or strapping it directly to the headrest. The remote is easy to figure out, just make sure you have two AAA batteries available! I would definitely recommend the 10 inch screens over the smaller 7.5 inch ones because you can see/hear the movie all the way in the back row. All the cords are inserted on the right of the devices so if you have kids facing opposite directions know that the cords could be over feet or somewhat in the way. I bought this in October so my kids could watch movies during long trips. It has been great, sound and video clear with no issues. Remote doesn’t work great, but still handy to have. In January my mother accidentally put her hand on the main player while getting out of the car, and that completely destroyed one side of the plastic holding the player to the seat. This left my 4 year old to hold the player while watching, which of course has resulted in him dropping it many times. The last time was today, and that was the death of the whole thing. It was good while it lasted, I just wish it had been longer and that the little piece of plastic holding the strap was constructed better. ... show more

I just want to start out by saying I give the customer service 5 stars on this. I was so excited to upgrade our other dual DVD player, and had read hundreds of reviews and decided on this one. After installing it all into our vehicle, the slave monitor (the extra monitor) was very dark and grainy, and the picture quality was just horrible no matter what settings I tried to fix. But the main monitor was great. So I contacted customer service and they sent me out a new slave monitor, with a new cord, free of charge, to try to see if that fixed the problem. They also let me keep the original slave monitor and not have to deal with sending it back. Well, I hooked the new one up and it was the exact same. Dark, grainy, horrible quality, so I don’t know if that’s an actual problem with anyone else’s also or if I just got a bad main monitor, not sure. But I contacted customer service yet again and they gave me two options, to either send it all back and get a full refund or keep it and they give me half my money back. Well I already got rid of my other one and my toddler loves his DVD player. The main monitor looks great and plays great. So instead of messing with sending everything back, I just took the second option of giving me half the money back. They was fast in their response and solving the problem. I appreciate their business. If the slave monitor I would have had the same quality as the main monitor, I would have had no complaints at all and would have been an easy 5 stars all the way around. ... show more

Another update: Not even 10 months later and the screen without the player inside has stopped working completely. Right before an 8 hour road trip. Update: After my review the store kindly issued me a $50 refund and also let me know that their team is working to fix the power button issue. For a car DVD player it looks decent and starts up pretty fast. I also like that you can use it even with the carseats facing different directions. However, in order to turn off the main player you have to do it on the player itself. The remote does not have a POWER OFF button which is mind boggling. It does have a display off button but when you’re driving and your child has fallen asleep on the road trip it’d be nice to have a button that turns off the display AND volume like a normal dvd player or literally anything with a power button. ... show more

This DVD player really worked well in the car and kept the kids occupied on all trips. However, after a year and a half, it’s not working. Starts playing and then pauses. Then states no DVD. Not sure if it was worth the money I paid to only work for a short while!
