For a mini sewing machine, it works great. With intermediate skills, I was able to hem my jeans in a half hour. It came already set up and worked well on thin jeans folded over once. Would not use for thick denim. Thread was a bit cheap as it kept breaking so I did have to adjust the tension. Stiches were pretty consistent but it needed focused guidance since I didn't use the pedal. Recommend for hems and repairs, especially for the price.

This cordless handheld sewing machine has 2-thread stitching. Two thread stitching locks each stitch. As a result, a break in a stitch limits the affected area to one stitch. Most if not all other similar versions have one thread stitching which DOES NOT lock each stitch. As a result, a break in a stitch often affects a large section of stitches. Two thumbs up!!! I was able successfully sew my leather handbag as well as 4-5 layers of cloth.
