  • Excellent 12v compressor!
The media could not be loaded. Works as advertised, high quality construction and fills all 4 of my tires in a few minutes, at the same time! Great value for performance. 12v makes it easy to install in any car/truck.

  • So good
This thing is fast, it's pretty high quality, and it's got a nice storage bag to keep it tidy when put away in the Jeep. Can't beat it for the money. Pretty serious for a portable clamps on compressor. Filled up a single 35" tire from 6psi to 32psi in under 2 mins.

  • Super fast air ups
This is a very well thought out product. Nearly every weekend during the season we go Jeeping and air down and up our tires. I just received the compressor today, July 19, 2024 and I had to test it. I also bought the Thor's Lightning Rapid 4-Tire Inflation/Deflation System. These products are a life changer. I first deflated all four the tires to 14.6 PSI then I aired all four tires back up to 36.6 psi in5 minutes and 45 seconds as you can see here. I performed this test on my Jeep TJ which has 35" BFGs. It will become my permanent compressor in my Jeep Jl which is were I am showing it stowed. All the tires are deflated and inflated to exactly the same level. I may buy one for each Jeep. ... show more

  • This thing is ridiculously fast!
I do a lot of off-roading in my Jeep and had an ARB single-cylinder compressor mounted under the hood. It was wired into a switch panel and connected to air outlets at the front and rear of the vehicle—super convenient! I always felt pretty good just flipping a switch to air up my tires while others hauled out their power tanks or portable compressors. Then, after many years of service, my ARB compressor suddenly stopped working. As I began looking for a replacement, this one caught my attention. Normally, airing up my 35” BFG KO2s from 12 or 14 psi to 35 psi takes me about 20 minutes—roughly 4 minutes per tire. I used to air them up one at a time and had to watch carefully to get the pressure just right. With this new compressor, it takes only 1 minute per tire! I also bought a 4-way inflator system (different brand that was cheaper), and together, they’re a total game changer. I can hook everything up in about 2 minutes, turn it on, and relax with a cold drink while it does the work. After 4 minutes, I just spend a minute unhooking everything, and I’m done. It saves me 15 to 20 minutes every time I air up! Not having to kneel down and constantly check the pressure is a huge bonus. While it might seem pricey, if you frequently air up and down for off-roading, it’s totally worth the investment—and it’s still more affordable than an ARB compressor or Power Tank. ... show more

  • Excellent… with a flaw.
Just got this, along with the four wheel inflate/deflate system from them. The good: this compressor is a beast. Four tires, 33”, from 15 to 35 psi in 4min 15 seconds. That’s amazing. My onboard twin ARB on a different vehicle did one tire in 2.5 minutes. The tires may be slightly different, but still, this is more than twice as fast as one of the best. The bad: the digital gauge is about 3 psi off with no way to calibrate. Luckily the four wheel system comes with its own gauge which is accurate, so I can see the different and adjust for it when I set the target. But that’s really not good. The gauge should be accurate or there should be a way to calibrate it. Manufacturer: if you are reading this and have a way to calibrate the gauge, I’d be willing to stand corrected. UPDATE: called them, they were super responsive and courteous and offered to replace the unit so they can recalibrate this one on their end. Kudos. As soon as the replacement takes place and I confirm the new unit is within spec, this review is going back up to 5 stars. ... show more

  • Speed, this thing is fast
I did multiple time tests. Often times I air down my tires to 18 psi to hit the trails and air them back up to 33 psi when I’m done from 18 psi back up to 33. It took an average of 55 seconds. This Unit is unbelievably fast. I’ve not long-term tested it. However, the build quality seems to be very good. One Note is the size. It is bigger and heavier than the pictures would indicate. Make sure you have a suitable place in your truck. ... show more

  • Don't waste your time. Buy this one and be happy!
The coolest thing ever for off-roaders that need to air down and up often. Time saver and makes it super easy with the ability to set the pressure and walk away. I would spend the extra and only get the model with the programmable feature.

  • This air compressor is everything I've been hoping for!
When I first got my Jeep, I purchased an air compressor so when I went off-roading or went to the beach, I could deflate my tires and re-inflate them without having to find a gas station or somewhere that has air to refill my tires. The one I purchased was apparently not made for that type of application and the times I did use it, it would literally take me over an hour to inflate 4 tires from 18PSI to 37PSI. It got hot, smelled like burning rubber and just was overall not pleasant. (Plus who wants to wait over an hour to inflate your tires!!) I got Thor's Lightning on Prime Day and used it for the first time 2 weekends ago after coming off the beach. I had deflated my tires down to 18PSI to drive on the beach. Once we were back on more firm ground, I pulled out the Thor's Lightning Compressor and gave it a whirl. All four tires inflated to 37PSI in less than 10 minutes!!! I love that you can set the PSI from the display as well. It takes the guess work and extra steps out of having to check PSI manually. When the tires were inflating, the air compressor kept cutting off and on. If yours does this, its a stop check to read the PSI to see how much air needs to be put in the tire to continue to inflate to the proper PSI. When you do use, it be careful because the red "towers" on either side will be extremely hot. With the air compressor set up on my front bumper, I was able to reach all 4 tires with the hose without having to move the compressor. Purchasing this air compressor was a bit of investment, but it has already proven its worth after using it. ... show more
