I bought this with no reviews posted. I purchased this because it was on the cheaper side, my air conditioner went out and I needed an extra unit for my house. This is used in my bedroom. I bought the 8000 but’s. So far this has worked out well, even on low it has decent power. I use the oscillator to keep the air moving. My bedroom is average size 10 x 10, and it keeps it really cool. I’ve kept it at 67 and it’s done well. I use a fan in my room as well to help move cool air into my hallway, it’s doing a decent job helping to cool that as well. Easy to move around, and solid setup. Not bad for the price. If things change I’ll update, but I recommend.

Works great for the price! I have 650 sq ft and a south west apartment in a quadruplex. It gets HOTTTTT. This dude cools down two of the three rooms at a time and a quickly. Very impressed. It did not come with any weather stripping for the window part which was uncool but I made it work Also even at its smallest the window part was too big and I ended up breaking it bc I didn't know how to cut it. So it has a weird jagged edge. It relatively small but the tube makes it tale up space. The tube is always hot. I wrapped my mine in foil. It's loud but that's ok. I lost the remote control or didn't get one I'm not sure lol.

Caused my whole house humidity to skyrocket and almost broke my actual AC. After installing this in my kid's bedroom, and ensuring the window adapter was sealed well, I noticed my house AC was unable to cool the house below 80f, and my humidity was above 90%. I thought my AC was malfunctioning, and after days of troubleshooting I finally realized it was this portable AC. I walked into my son's room to what I would describe as a cold wetness, it felt gross. Almost immediately after turning off the portable unit, my house humidity started to come down, and after a couple of hours the temperature was back to normal. I'm assuming the issue is the evaporative feature that makes it where you don't have to drain water, this just puts the water into the air instead. I was able to return it easily so at least there's that.

It is easy to put together and set up, but doesn’t cool well enough. The size is just what I was looking for. Air flow is good, and the price is very good. I moved it to cool my 200 square feet shed, but as I mentioned before, doesn’t cool very well for the Texas heat.

Great running air conditioner for being portable. The insulation process was a little longer than expected due to our windows not being compatible. We made it work though. I do not like the open hole for the hot air exchange. You may want to get a screen patch so no critters will go up in the hose. It cools down three rooms. It will not cover the whole square footage of your home. You can adjust the speed high or low and the temperature. It is very easy to use. I still have not empty the water tank that's below it though.
