Great for a desk or nightstand to help in situations where you have a “hotspot” in your home as the weather heats up in the summer. It is very quiet and powerful, considering its size and low power requirement. There is an adequate cooling effect even without placing ice in the reservoir. I work from home and spend most of my day in a small upstairs office that tends to get warm in the afternoon, even with central air running. I didn’t want to blast the whole house AC just to cool one room, so I tried this portable 3-in-1 mini air conditioner on my desk. The setup was simple. I filled the 1000ml water tank, plugged it in using the included 5V 2A adapter, and selected a cooling mode. The unit is compact enough to sit next to my monitor without taking over the workspace. Once turned on, it immediately started circulating air, and with the added water function, the airflow felt noticeably cooler and more refreshing compared to a standard desk fan. What I like most is the timer feature. During work calls, I set it for 2 or 4 hours so I don’t have to remember to turn it off. It runs quietly in the background, which is important for virtual meetings. The sound is more of a soft airflow rather than a mechanical hum. The water tank capacity is practical for a work session. I can run it for several hours before needing a refill. It’s easy to remove and refill without spilling. I keep this mini air cooler on my office desk, and it has been one of those small tools that makes long work sessions more comfortable. I tend to feel warm when I am focused for a long time, especially in the afternoon, so having something close by helps more than the main room air. When I was working in the study in the afternoon, the room upstairs was always stuffier than other places, so I put this 3-in-1 mini air cooler on the desk to try it out. After filling the water tank, plug it in and it will soon be blowing soft cool air. It's not big and won't take up space when placed next to the monitor. Usually I turn on the mid-range wind speed and add a little mist function to make the air feel fresher. There is also a timer function that automatically turns off after a few hours, so you don’t have to worry about it while working. It is very suitable for use at your desk.
