I kept ice and water in this thing I didn't feel nothing. It didn't get cold at all. I barely felt the air. This was a waste. Thank God for easy return. I found something better by costway. It's a bigger and better portable ac.

Works great as a fan but not as a mini AC. It needs lots of ice for it to cool and the ice melts right away so it doesn’t stay cold. It starts fanning regular air. Pretty helpful for assisting in cooling down a room to a more tolerable temperature in a dry climate, especially at night. I have this on a plant stand in my RV bedroom with two other small clip-on fans on walls to circulate the air better. Temper your expectations: It won't make it feel cold like real AC (even with ice) unless you have it on high fan high humidity and are sitting right in front of it, but it does make a small space much more comfortable to be in. The oscillation feature is nice, and I like that it returns to central position when off. It's quiet enough to sleep with on low fan speed, and on low humidity speed the tank will last all night. Appreciate that the lights aren't very bright on the buttons, and that the tank is removable for easier refill and cleaning. Gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the power converter gets way too hot for my taste when it's hot out - could probably be rectified with a thicker gage wire, I just keep an eye/hand on it every so often, and shut off the oscillation when my space is way too hot for the plug to not feel extra hot. ... show more
