This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a different one in my living that is the same BTU however this unit puts out way stronger and cooler and takes up less space. I am thinking about moving out to my loving room instead. It was easy to set up and took less than 4 minutes. Super light and easy to move around. The room is already way more comfortable. I chose this 10,000 BTU in-room AC unit to cool my practice room. It removes the obstruction caused by my former AC window unit, which blocked the narrow walking path outside. The unit is easy to operate and comes with a remote, which is helpful since it’s on the opposite side of the room from where I sit. It was easy to set up in about 30 minutes. You’ll need window insulation since the unit doesn’t come with any. The unit is impressively packed, and the cover lifts off easily and can be moved via the built-in wheels with ease. A high amount of heat travels through the collapsible exit tube, so the shorter the path between the AC unit and the window, the less heat will impede the cooling. The operational noise has a calming effect, and at the normal setting is fairly quiet. Overall, I can easily recommend this portable AC unit. ... show more

What a great portable air conditioner. I got this for my bedroom which is perfect for this room. It cools so great and the setup was easy. I am 66 yrs old a woman and did it all by myself. Of course, if I needed help, I would’ve asked my son-in-law but no need to because this was an easy thing to do. I love the remote control even though I have not used that yet, but it is convenient and overall a great portable air conditioner for anyone that needs to cool their room. I did use a 2.5 gallon basket to collect the water and it did get pretty high so I’m gonna have to get a bigger one. I’m not sure if it was just the humidity in the room or not but I would get a 5 gallon bucket which I’m going to purchase this weekend for like four dollars. My window as you can see is vertical and still it was very easy to set up. Yes I did use duct tape to ensure that there was no air coming in. I would recommend this as well. I give it a five star review because it is a perfect portable air conditioner if anyone is looking for one. ... show more

This AC unit was simple to set up and works as it is intended to. It is quiet and cooled the 400 sq.ft. room down quickly. I have not used it much as the room it is in is only sporadically used. There was no sealer included as declared but it could cause a leak, a heat air coming from the outside or a cold air coming from the inside. I have to buy that sealer to eliminate the leak possibility which is included already on other seller of the same item with the same or lower price. The parts were not designed to fit on each other as shown on the photo which is another potential source of leak. The only good thing so far is the cooling capability which is acceptable, good enough for the big room I have.
