I purchased this unit for my bedroom. The unit was the perfect size and had all the features .. smart temperature controls and modes I was looking for .. as well as the useful remote control. The unit arrived very well packaged and in a timely manner. I unpackaged the unit and left it upright for the recommended 24 hrs. I proceeded to install the window installation kit into the sliding window. I measured the right side of the window and used a wood dowel inside a foam tube to seal the right side. Installed the hose mount and it fit perfectly. After the 24 hours ... I used a rectangular milk crate ... flipped it over so the bottom was up ... and lifted the unit onto it. Doing so gave me about 11 inches of additional height. I then connected the hose to the unit and window mount and plugged it in. I immediately noticed the noise level was low and very acceptable. The entire installation was quick and easy. I set the unit to cool .. low fan .. and 72 degrees. I was very impressed with how fast the unit cooled the bedroom. No more hot nights. The unit turned off when the set point was reached and turned back on when the temperature rose. The quality of the unit leads me to believe it will be reliable for many summers to come. I'm Impressed..!!!

I've been using this portable AC in my bedroom for a few weeks, and it cools the room much faster than I expected. The setup was simple, and the remote control makes it convenient to adjust the settings. I also like the sleep mode because it's quiet at night. This AC is overall good. It brings down the temperature (although my room is small) to what I need. However, it is VERY LOUD. It has a sleep function but it only turns off the light, it does not make it quiet. It also started making this even more loud noise the first 30seconds when it starts after 2 days. The manual says it's normal, but it is so loud that it always wakes me up - it stops and restarts multiple times so it wakes me up every single time it restarts. I like it and I would recommend it, but NOT for a bedroom if you want to sleep through the night.

Works really well cools my bedroom down great, except for how much water it creates. I have a huge bin for water collecting from the hose and it fills up multiple gallons in a single night. My other ac unit barely has any water buildup after weeks of use. It's not set to dehumidifier and yet there's more water coming out than I've ever seen from an ac unit.

My first impression of this portable air conditioner is very positive. I appreciate the size and the variety of modes you can utilize: fan only for white noise and air movement, dehumidifier, and air conditioner! I haven't connected the window air output hose just yet but it appears that everything needed to complete that is included in the package. I really appreciate the included remote control to operate the unit from across a room or from bed! This is an outstanding addition for any home that needs just a little extra boost of cold in the Summer months. The energy guide label indicates this is a very efficient model.
