I went back and forth between XS and S. Size chart puts me at the high end of XS. I ordered S and I like the fit. Easy to get on and off. I’m 5’5”, 118 pounds, waist is 28.5, hips 39. Glad I found this skort! Padding and material is not as thick as my old pair. I can see light through the skirt and shorts, not see through sheer, just not as dense as I’m used to. Body is 90 percent polyester, 10 elastane. Lining 84 percent polyester, 16 elastane. I like the higher waist. Covers my belly button and doesn’t pull down when wearing, stays put. I don’t use the pockets but they are there if you need them. The back waistband zippered pocket is 6” X 3”, will hold debit/credit card, chap stick, small stuff. I wore this yesterday for a 21 mile ride, stopped for lunch and several breaks and it was comfortable to wear. Could use a little more padding since I’m a bit sore today but I don’t regularly go on rides that long. Washed in cold water, lay flat to dry. Maintained shape.

Well I went with the size chart which according to my measurements would be a small. My usual size is a medium, for reference I’m 5’5”, 150 lbs with a 29” waist. When I tried it on the first time I could hear what sounded like the seams snapping and breaking. I finally got it on without too much effort they fit, and the snapping stopped. I was concerned that the seams would start to ravel after all that. But I washed the skirt and it washed up fine, I also checked the seams and they all seemed fine too. So I don’t know what I was hearing. I didn’t realize when I got this skirt that it has a nice little pocket at the back of the waist which will be nice to carry small items, it also has pockets on both thighs that look like they will hold a cellphone and keys. The padding feels and seems a bit weird and the color is luckily not seen. Because it is a super bright pink. Not sure why they didn’t that but wow it’s pink. I like the grippy strip around the leg openings, it helps to keep the shorts in place. The padding feels like it would be really noticeable but it’s not, I think it’s just because you can really feel it. Overall this is a cute skirt/shorts bottom with a lot of nice features. Once I get past the pink padding, I'm sure I will wear these on all my bike rides this summer.

I ordered according to the sizing chart for my waist and hips measurements and the fit is true-to-size. For reference, my measurements are: 29"-waist, 40"-hips, and 5'3". The size small fits perfectly. The material reminds me of bathing suit material. It's comfortable and sweat-wicking. The padding is just as thick as other cycling shorts that I have. There is an anti-slip grippy material on the inside edge of the shorts to keep them from sliding up while cycling, as is typical of cycling shorts. These shorts with the skirt look cute. I don't usually use the pockets in my cycling shorts, but it has a zippered pocket in the back and side pockets on either side of the shorts under the skirt. I would recommend these cycling shorts.

This padded skirt with shorts "skort" combo garment is a pretty amazing all in one piece. The padding in the crotch of the shorts is not bulky or uncomfortable when not in the saddle. The shorts have grip inside the hem so they don't ride up. They really stay in place. The fabric is thick but not so heavy to be hot, just durable and opaque. The skirt is "just right," not super short and not overly long. The waistband is wide and doesn't cut in or twist. You will not be sorry if you get this one.
