The media could not be loaded. I bought this portable air conditioner to use in my garage for a small home gym setup that I have. Obviously I expect to get my sweat on while working out, but the Texas summer heat turns my garage into a 400sq-ft oven and I can only handle so much time in there before calling it quits. Enter the AIDIAM brand portable A/C…. it has been a game changer! -PERFORMANCE: it only took a few minutes to set up, and it didn’t take long after turning the unit on to have it blasting cold air. The air flow was consistent, powerful, and cold. Additionally, the lowest temperature that the unit can be turned down to is 61F (setting for the room temperature), but my laser pyrometer measured the outlet air temperature at 55.5F, which I was super happy about! Using it on the cool setting was great for keeping the temperature down in my garage to a comfortable level. -Using it in fan mode was about what I would expect from a unit like this. It wasn’t as powerful as an actual purpose-built tower fan or centrifugal fan, but it was strong enough for circulating the air around after cooling down the room on A/C mode. -I also tested it out in the dehumidifier mode, but the climate is pretty dry down here, so I went in not expecting it to pull that much moisture from the air. That being said, it was very effective at pulling whatever moisture was in the air out of it, and after a 24 hour period I got about 4 gallons of water, so it definitely works well. The specifications on the unit say that it’s capable of doing 58L (about 15 gallons) per day and I definitely believe it could do so. AESTHETICS: I really like the look of the unit. It’s a nice rectangular shape that tucks away nicely when not in use. I’m not a fan of the rounded design of other brands (to me they look like big paper shredders). I also really like the soft blue light strip across the front and the easy to read digital display on top (both of which can be turned off in sleep mode if you don’t like the lights). I think the only change I would make to the design is maybe offer a totally blacked out version so that it’s even more discrete in a room, but overall it still looks very good as is. DESIGN FEATURES: I really like overall design of the A/C unit. It has some thoughtful features that I appreciate. For example, when not in use, the power cord plugs into the back of it so that it's not just sitting on the floor. The hose also completely detaches from the back so that the unit can be stored flush up against a wall. The hose is also collapsible for storing, but long enough to reach any normal window. I personally just put the exhaust hose and condensate drain line out the bottom of my garage door, but the included plastic window insert will fit any standard window. The included remote is also a nice design touch, but most of the time I just walk up to the unit anyways when I turn it on so that I can make sure the vent louvers are pointed where I want. Overall I am very happy with the value of this portable air conditioner. It works great for cooling off my garage, which was the primary reason I bought it. But also, because it's lightweight and portable, I could use it to cool off any room in my house quickly or have it as a backup in case my home A/C system ever has issues. 10 out of 10!

I seriously love this AC. First off, setup was a breeze, took it out of the box and had it up and running in like 10 minutes with zero tools. That alone was a win. It also looks super sleek in the room. It’s narrow enough that it doesn’t take up a ton of space, which is perfect since I didn’t want something that dominated the whole area. The cooling power is awesome. It cools my space down fast and keeps it nice and chill without making a ton of noise. I also love the dehumidifier feature too, it’s so humid where I live, and this thing makes a huge difference. I can actually feel the air is lighter and less sticky. Also love that I can control it from the remote while I’m in bed or on the couch. Total game changer. If you’re looking for a solid portable AC that’s quiet, efficient, and doesn’t mess up your room’s vibe, this is it. Definitely recommend!

This is the 2nd portable air conditioner I’ve purchased, and I have to say, it’s a noticeable step up from my previous one. Right out of the box, I was impressed by how much lighter it is – moving it from room to room is a breeze now. The sleek, modern design also blends in much better with my interior. One of the things I love most is how intuitive the controls are. The buttons are clearly labeled and easy to use, even without reading the manual. It’s simple, straightforward, and user-friendly. But the biggest win for me is how quiet it is. My old unit was so loud I could barely hear the TV over it, but this one runs smoothly and quietly in the background. It makes a huge difference, especially when trying to work or sleep. If you're looking for a portable AC that’s lighter, quieter, and more thoughtfully designed, I highly recommend this one. It’s made a real difference for me!

A sleek portable air conditioner, Model KY-10K/07G, that pumps out that sweet sweet cold air for anyone with horizontal sliding windows in these summer months. 10,000 BTU, 1000W, 9.0A, which is enough to cover a couple of small-medium sized rooms on paper. Let it sit for 24 hours upright before use. It was pushing enough air to quickly cool the living room we got it for since we had an older window AC that needed to be replaced due to different window types. Grandma turn it off since she sat so close to it and prefers it warmer now. Lowest it went was 63 degrees, but we set it to 77 and she was set. Remote takes AA's and show 1.5V, but I'm unsure if some newer 1.2V rechargeables could function in a pinch but it worked fine. The casters roll well but I'd be wary about putting too much abuse on them. It has a lock, thank god. I know it feels pointless for so many, but with kids, it's a lifesaver. This doesn't have a dedicated internal reservoir for water that you can just pull out either, so you'll eventually need to drain it from the lower plug when it goes into "Water full" reminder. This is the type where you'll probably need a dedicated drain hose and bottle or run to a drain for somewhere extremely humid like all these air conditioners that don't fully sit in the window do. The fins weren't bent, but I do foresee some issues with getting the lower filter screen off easily. I almost broke it trying to get it off the first time, so be wary about how much you try to force it out. It's has a moderate amount of noise, not crazy high, but enough that it might bug some people if you don't have it on low/sleep mode. Maybe you're like me and actually prefer the white noise though!

This portable air conditioner runs great. Have had it running in the work room for a week now and the room is nice and cool. The fan is nice and quiet, it fits the window great and I have not had to empty it yet. It has two fan speeds: low and high and comes with a remote control. It makes working conditions upstairs comfortable!
