I’m very surprised at the quality and effectiveness of this portable air conditioner, mainly because of the affordable price. I have been looking at portable AC units for weeks, trying to find one that’s affordable yet effectively cools down as much square footage as possible. I live in the desert and in Summer, temperatures can get to over 105 degrees. The other units I’ve seen that are 10,000 BTU are over $400-$500 minimum. This AC is 10,000 BTU and is very powerful, yet it was well below that cost range. It was easy to set up, came with all necessary equipment, and has a digital display with a convenient remote control. You can set the temperature, fan speed, etc., to your liking, and it is incredibly compact and has wheels to easily move it around. Other powerful units are HUGE and take up way too much space. I highly recommend you buy this portable air conditioner. I literally have nothing negative to say about it.

As most of the other 1 star reviews state, it is very true. This cools great, but the major problem is that it constantly stops working for several hours at a time. I'll wake up burning up at night because this thing stops and needs to be emptied after literally emptying it a day prior. It must have some terrible drainage system because the first month I had this thing I never had to drain it at all and then out of nowhere, constantly had to drain it every 4-5 days or so and then it seemed to be every single day. I keep it clean too and it is absurd how there also seems to be some other area where the water drains out when you tip it over. Poorly made, most likely. I don't recommend this if you plan on keeping it in a room. Might be good to just throw in your garage in a Summer heatwave, but this is not an ideal unit to keep in your room because of the constant water dumping and mess it can make.

This little gadget works really well. I had it up and running fast, and within 15 minutes it cooled my bedroom, hallway, and bathroom. It’s small enough to fit in tighter spots and moves easily from room to room. Setting it up was simple. The instructions showed a horizontal window, but I used a vertical one and filled a small gap with some foam I had. No issues there. The dehumidifier surprised me. It dropped the humidity by five percent in 15 minutes, which is about what my larger unit does. The filters come out without a hassle and are easy to clean. The remote is a nice touch. I use it often to change settings or turn it off without having to get up. Makes things a lot easier, especially at night. Overall, it gets the job done. It would be a solid choice for a bedroom, small apartment, or even an RV.

I have a 3-season room that we needed to find a way to cool during the summer and with no wall space to put a mini-split (windows all the way around) I figured this would be a good solution. I ordered this one due to the reviews and price. Setup was easy and the build quality seems decent. That said, the first thing you experience when it turns on is how insanely loud it is. I can hear it through the house and up the stairs clear is day. There are only two fan speeds: Low and High. Low is barely slower than High and both are extremely loud. What is annoying is that you can't set it to a temperature and allow it to control the fan speed based on the difference like all of the mini splits in the house. It's either full blast or off and I cannot for the life of me figure out why anyone would want that. I won't be returning it but rather throwing it in my garage for the hot days I want to work on something. I wouldn't buy this again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone putting it anywhere but a garage or a shop.

First off this thing is pretty heavy it’s probably about 60-75 pounds to buyer beware if you’re unable to lift heavy have someone ready to help. I bought this for my grandmother last summer since her air conditioner has completely failed and she cannot replace it at this time. This AC is definitely meant to cool down an average size bedroom. It is a bit loud but nothing different than any portable AC. The thermostat definitely works highly advise that everyone uses it to avoid running up your electric bill. It is also a dehumidifier so make sure you empty the water tank or else the unit is unable to cool. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get room down to 76 degrees when it’s 95+ outside after that it turns on and off every 15 minutes or so. One improvement we made was setting this AC up on top of a table instead seems to be a bit more efficient and letting your ceiling fan spread the cool air out
