- Get ready for ignition 1. Open the propane tanks gas flow slowly. If there is a sudden rush through the regulator, this may trigger a safety valve and prevent the gas from flowing properly. 2. When lighting your Gas Burner, push in and very slowly turn anti-clockwise. This should take 3 seconds to give the gas enough chance to flow in to the burner. 3. When you hear the *click* of ignition, continue to press the control knob for 3 more seconds.

I bought the Gas Burner Attachment for the Ooni Karu 12, but I’m actually using it with my Frya pizza oven, and it works like a charm! Even though it’s designed for the Karu, mounting it on the Frya was a breeze. I just used some self-tapping metal screws, and it was securely in place in no time. This burner has been a game-changer for my pizza nights. I use it every week, and it heats up quickly and evenly, giving me perfectly cooked pizzas every time. If you’re thinking about getting this for your Frya, I’d say go for it—it’s totally worth it!

I have no complaints whatsoever about this burner. It has made my Karu extremely easy to use. I love being able to use propane when I want an easy cook and the best part is how easy it is to switch back to using wood. I would recommend using the chimney while you use this, it will prevent the soot from building up on the front of the oven. I regularly cook Neapolitan style pizzas with this, they require temps around 900 F and this burner is able to preheat the oven to that in about 20 minutes (30 minutes in the winter where I live). I have been through over a dozen cooks so far and I have yet to use a whole bottle of propane yet. This product fits extremely well and works like a charm. I love it and highly recommend it!

Works great on Ooni pro and lot cheaper than the one we bought from Ooni directly. Only 4 stars because I’m waiting to see how long it lasts. I’ll change to 5 stars if it lasts longer than 6 months.

Fun while it lasted. The knob/valve is very touchy and now it won't stay lit unless you hold it in like you need to when first igniting. If I'm lucky I can get it going sometimes but it usually won't stay on. Never had good control from the knob. It's pretty much on full blast or barely at all with not a lot in between. Guess I'll look at other brands.

Construction, design and materials seem solid. Fits fine. Easily swapped with pellet insert. I used strong magnets from the outside lip of the burner unit instead of drilling/tapping and using screws. I’m sure the screws would work too. It took a few tries to get it lit but it burned smoothly and had good fire adjustment with the dial. Love the Fyra. Love the aroma of the pellets. And I will continue to use pellets too. Just needed this option on days when I want more plug and play. ooni doesn’t recommend this, it seems. They designed the Karu for multifuel (though they did not design that model to use pellets). I suspect some design differences - insulation, air flow/geometry and heat chamber. But controlling the flame and monitoring heat should allow use of this adaptor in the Fyra. Will need to play with it. Will update.
