The weather’s been getting hotter lately, so I set up this portable AC in my bedroom. It cools the room down pretty quickly, especially in the afternoons when the heat really kicks in. Setting it up was simple, the hose and window kit didn’t take much effort to get right. I like that I can roll it around if I need to, with the wheels and handles making it simple, but it mostly stays put in the bedroom. I usually use the cooling mode during the day and switch to sleep mode at night since it’s quieter and still keeps the room cool enough. The remote is handy too, I don’t have to get up to change the settings. The fan and dehumidifier modes also come in handy, depending on the weather. I also use the timer a lot. I set it to turn off after a few hours, and it takes care of itself. This AC has made the bedroom way more comfortable.

This is a good value as air conditioners go. Easy to install, works as expected, reasonably small and not very heavy. It moves around nicely and is stable when in place. The remote is a nice feature to have. When we installed it, I had to trim the ends of the window vent panel so it would fit in the track of the window. I wanted to have this on the floor and mount the vent panel on the top of the window, but the vent tube does not reach all the way down, so I had to set it on a tabletop. It is good that there is only an exhaust hose to deal with, though that means that the unit is taking air from inside and pumping it outside to vent the heat out-slight loss of efficiency. The quality looks good as far as I can see without taking it apart. My only complaint is that it is about as loud as any other air conditioner. The dB levels quoted did not state a distance measured, so I can't say they are incorrect. Don't buy it if you think it will be quieter than other units. Going from the high fan speed to the lower setting helps a bit, but not a lot. I have it next to the bed, so it is about as close to my ears as it could get. When it kicks on and off, it can disturb my sleep, so I plan to get around this by setting it on the low fan speed and the temp as low as possible so it stays on all night and does not cycle. In spite of this, I am happy with the purchase.

This is my favorite portable air conditioner because it looks high-end and has a dehumidification function. The cooling is very fast and the motor is very quiet so it won't disturb me when I'm resting. The remote control is also very cute and the installation is very simple. Great! Great! Great!

Works great keeps my room cool on hot days. Would highly recommend for a small room gets the job done I use this particular one in my computer room where it gets pretty hot quite enough to not notice it and looks nice and sleek as air conditioners go if you’re looking for one of these.
