I’ve used it car camping and it gets the job done. The light is pretty too! Yeah, we like this thing. It's more of a personal air conditioner than cooling a whole room. My office gets a lot of sun so heats up a bit. The unit just sits on my desk and blows cool air that really make a nice difference. Not cheaply built with plenty of adjustments. The remote works great. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Compre este aire acondicionado portátil para mi madre y ella está encantada, escribo esta reseña por ella que me pidió le diera 5 estrellas y los mejores comentarios, no es ruidoso, trabaja excelente, su habitación se mantiene fresca y sobretodo está feliz por el humificador ya que al ser una persona de edad sufre de resequedad en la piel con tanto aire seco, ahora pasará un verano muy fresco, ah y el plus, la luz, la relaja totalmente, y ya no tiene que dormir con su lámpara encendida por si tiene que ir al baño, estoy feliz de haber realizado esta compra para ella. This compact, portable Air Conditioner is extremely efficient. We just put ice in the top, (or you can use water)...it cooled the room off 10° right away. It's perfect for one room, has a mist capability to make it even cooler. 3 levels of fan control, blows out really far, & you can control how cold you want it. And I love the ambiance light! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a glorified fan with the tiniest, weakest misting system that doesn't actually blow cold hair, then this is for you. I got it for menopausal night hot flashes and it doesn't do what it advertises. Invest in a standing portable AC unit or window unit instead. These tiny things don't blow cold air.

Ordered to save energy in a small area. It is very portable and the fan works great. Easy to fill the tank with water or ice, However I didn't find it to cool as much as I thought is would. Although the temperatures in my area have been high in the lower 90s.

This is advertised as a mini swamp cooler. It is not a real swamp cooler. It is a fan that blows mist into the blown air stream. Swamp coolers soak and or saturate a grid with water, placed in front of or behind the fan, that the fan moves air past, and in doing so the water sits there gaining energy from the air until it has enough energy added to it to evaporate away. Blowing a small bit of mist in front of the air stream is only going to get like 1/50th the amount of evaporative cooling potential as real coolers that use the grid, while using up water way too fast and adding humidity too quickly to the room. (Unless that is what you are going for). I tested this one and with the mist turned on it is hardly any colder than just with the fan blowing alone, no mist added. Most portable ACs advertised on Amazon here are similar to this model, where the jets blow mist into the air stream, but these are not real swamp coolers. How you can tell the difference when researching is by looking for the circular metal jets that appear in front of the face plate, at the top or bottom usually. The ones that have those circular metal jets are misters and not swamp coolers. The ones that are real swamp coolers, when researching closely, will show that there is a filter which absorbs water which sits in front of or behind the fan, and those are real swamp coolers. Check the video reviews the products have to get a look at the insides of the machine you are researching to see if it has the real grid filter, or if it is just a mister.
