UPDATE: Customer Service was wonderful. They were email only - but yet there every day to help me. To get the app to work I had to re-install. So far its wonderful. You can cut the slider to fit the window. Maybe thats a "given" but not to me - I had thought it was simply too big to fit. If you get stuck like I did - Before leave a one star review - please contact them. They are very willing to help. I recently purchased this portable air conditioner and have been very satisfied with its performance. The air conditioner is lightweight and easy to move from room to room, making it a convenient addition to my home. It cools down the room quickly and efficiently, and the temperature control settings are easy to use. One of the things I appreciate about this air conditioner is how quiet it is. I can easily use it in my bedroom without it disturbing my sleep. The included remote control is also a nice feature, allowing me to adjust the temperature and fan speed without having to get up. The only downside to this air conditioner is that the exhaust hose can be a bit tricky to install at first, but once it's set up, it works perfectly fine. Has anyone experienced the window sealing plate assembly being too long and the exhaust pipe hole being covered by the inserted piece? I've emailed Pasapair directly and have not received a response. I am trying to find out if they have shorter pieces that do not exceed 30". Or if they could give me the exact dimensions so I can order universal parts that will fit. The media could not be loaded. My 20 year old wall unit just broke down, so I decided to get this portable one and give it a try before summer comes. I’ve been using it for over a week now and so far it works great. It’s not hot right now so I used it for fan/ air circulation in the living room, it brings a decent amount of air flow, and the noise level is tolerable. I owned a Black and Decker portable unit few years ago and I’m ok with the noise as long as it cools down the room. I’ve also tested the cooling mode, when the compressor is on, the cold air coming out is really powerful and cools down the room very fast. It seems like a great value for the money and hopefully will help get us through the summer. ... show more

    • When it works, it's great. It doesn't work for more than an hour due to defective internals.

The media could not be loaded. This unit does not run for more than an hour before requiring draining of the internal watee tray. When hooking the provided hose to the unit water doesn't drain out without shaking it. The installation should have been easy but wasn't as we had to cut the provided window fitting with tin snippers to fit, since they blocked the ventilation attachment from slotting neatly inside the window attachment. When the unit does work, it has an immediate positive effect on the room. The room is cooler and less humid. Having said that, the constant issues we've had in our day with it just getting it running makes it a total bust. If the internal mechanics worked better I'd give this product five stars, but as it currently stands I have to figure out a way to get this defective unit to UPS in new packaging since the provided packaging relied on plastic strings that I needed to cut to actually unpack the item. ... show more

Fast delivery by Amazon. it's no louder then a fan. was set up and running in less then ten minutes. 350 Sq ft went from 89 degree to 82 in 3 hours. was at 79 in 5 hours. been running for 5 hours so far. it's compact and tall. It's on wheels. easy to operate. have not tried the wifi yet.

The control systems on it, the humidification AC wasn't set up as clear as others. The return said that it would be the business day following. And someone tried to pick it up the same day and stuck a big old sticker on my new glass door. I would really like to have this credited where it shows that I've got credit for it on my phone.
