I never got an ac for my living room so I decided to give this a try. This is lightweight and easy to store when not in use. Convenient robust handle on top for transportation. It is relatively quiet-my mini vacuum makes more noise. Tried this with water and the air did feel cooler with the mist. Ice made it even cooler. The water tank capacity is huge and takes a couple of hours to evaporate if left on. Even if it’s empty the unit is still functional as a fan. Three speeds for the fan and three misting intensities. Comes with a remote. LED Light, timer, and aroma features are there if you want to use it. Won’t give the same effect as a window unit AC but it is a fair option for a small space if it’s hot and dry. It doesn’t come with a wall adapter but it’s a usb plug so I am able to use it with my usual adaptors.

Wanted a quiet fan with mist for bedroom use...sadly not quiet at all. Could not remove front grate as advised for cleaning. Very difficult to remove seal to water tank for filling. Unit pooled water underneath which is unsafe. Returned unit. On positive side...remote control worked perfectly. Nice size for unit and very portable. Negatives outweighed positives however.

This portable cooling machine is very convenient, because it is easy to carry wherever you want to use it. Easy to operate and the remote is a big plus. I used it for my daughter inside her room and it's enough for her. I just put in her side table facing on her bed and she said the temperature is good and enough. And she can adjust the temperature and changing the mode by the remote control without touching the machine. The good thing is the sounds of this machine is not disturbing. It looks very simple appearance but looks like durable quality... used it closer to you. This is not enough to cool in large area or in a whole room.

I have a study room that I use when I work from home. Unfortunately the room faces the sun in the afternoon and gets it very hot. While I do have central air conditioning at home, I always feel like it’s both a waste of money and probably bad for global warming. Especially if I’m the only one at home. So I have been thinking about a slim portable unit for awhile now. Finally decide to pull the trigger. Partially encouraged by the coupon that pulled the price down a little. To my surprise, it worked better than expected. By adding a bit of ice and water, it help moist the air and made the room cooler. Clearly this doesn’t replace the whole air con, but for its size, it’s not too bad at all.
