TLDR, A nice item that isn't lightning fast but works exactly as needed for convenience or in an emergency. One star off because: Manual mostly worthless, minor defect that didn't affect performance, gauge slightly off. Packaging – Nice, retail style packaging suitable for gifting. Items included are the inflator, a 12V auto charging/power cord, a USB-C charging cable, various accessory nozzles/tips for miscellaneous inflatables (i.e., balls, air rafts, etc), an extra fuse, the inflator hose, instruction manual & a carry bag. I’m rating this 4 stars, deducting a star for three reasons. First, as is typical for Chinese products, the manual is mostly worthless. Fortunately, it is pretty straightforward, so even with the lack of instruction, most can figure it out with the little bit the manual offers. The other reason is that the light isn’t flush to the surface of the inflator (see picture), it is flush on one side and depressed about a couple of centimeters on the other side, clearly a defect, however it doesn’t impact the device in any way operationally (inflating, charging or the light). The third reason is the slight mismatch between the inflation gauge on the device when compared to a high quality gauge and the TPMS readings of the vehicle. It overinflated about 1.5 – 2.0 psi when compared to the display when running vs. shutoff (I’ll explain below). The inflator indicated a full charge when I arrived, so I used it out of the box. When powered on, you can toggle between modes. A “person” which displays in psi and allows for custom setting across the full range, so a personal setting, a “basketball”, which is preset to 8 psi, a “bicycle” preset to 45 psi, a “motorcycle” set to 2.00 bar and an “auto” preset to 2.50 bar. I assume most will use the personal setting since it reads in psi and most don’t know bar conversion. When changing the psi setting of the options, you can change in one psi increments up and down. The gauge (when connecting to your device to be inflated) displays change in half psi increments. The light toggles between four positions, off, solid white, flashing red & blue and flashing white. The LED is bright and would certainly grab attention to other motorists at night. To test the unit, I aired up the tires on my F-150. My tires, using a Longacre analog racing tire gauge, my tires measured in between 37 & 40 psi, so a little below the 43 psi recommended inflation. I set the inflator to 43 psi on the “personal” setting, connected the hose and attached to the 37 psi tire. The gauge on the inflator displayed 37 psi, so nice to see the two gauges in agreement. I flipped on the inflator and timed it to 43 psi. It took 2 minutes, 20 seconds to inflate the six pounds to 43 psi (Not blazing fast, but does exactly what you need in an emergency). When I turned off the inflator, the gauge immediately jumped to 44.5 psi, so the running display is about 1.5 psi lower than actual. This gap was consistent for all four tires. Measuring with the Longacre gauge confirmed this gap. TPMS displayed 45 psi, so additional confirmation. I didn’t test further, but in the future, I will set the inflator one psi lower than the target. The rate of time to inflate all four tires was consistent with the first. The inflator isn’t exceptionally loud, about what you’d expect from an inflator this size. The battery life indicator went from three lines (full) to one line at the end of inflating all tires. The inflator hose does get fairly warm/mildly hot, but not abnormally and there are warning stickers on the hose to alert that it will get warm. Overall this is a very nice little device that can serve as a handy, portable tool if you want to have around to inflate balls and toys conveniently as well as carrying in your vehicle as an emergency inflator.

This is my third portable air compressor. The first one I got was a 4000mAh battery pack model that cost about 40 bucks (but there was a coupon, so got it for half price). I loved that one so much, got another, but went up in battery size to a 6000mAh pack and but it had a cheaper list price off 35 bucks. The battery increase made huge difference in the power and pump speed, and even though it was a cheaper list price. So, decided to try this bad boy with a hefty $72 price tag, but with a 7800mAh batty pack and see if the extra money was worth it. Answer: It is! Now, don't get me wrong, the less powerful battery pack units work great and get the job done. You will be happy with them. But this guy, you will be thrilled with! 1. Power and speed: this is the fasted pump by far! I did a speed test with this 7800mAh pump vs my 6000mAh on two flat tires on the same tractor. Hooked up the 6000mAh, started it pumping. Then walked around to the other tire and hooked up the 7800mAh. Even though the 6000mAh had a head start, the 7800mAh had the tire pumped up and I unhooked it and put it up, and the then stood around and still had to wait a few minutes for the 6000mAh to reach the same tire pressure. 2. This hose is longer on this unit. About 12" vs about 6" on my other two units. This is such a help when pumping up tires with hard to reach stem valves. 3. Great Features with multiple hazards and SOS flash settings. Red blue and white lights. Were other units just have red and white. 4. When setting the pressure on my other units, I have to click the button again and again for each pound of pressure. This one, you can just hold the button and scroll. 5. This 7800mAh one comes with a nice overside bag that all the wires and everything fit into. My middle sized one came with a bag, but the wires wouldn't fit. A couple of things to consider if you are wondering if this is the right unit for you: As you would expect, it's heavy and larger than the smaller battery units. As this one works faster, with better features, it is going in my car. It's great for you bigger tires. Plus, the roadside safety is improved with the upgraded light. I am going to use one of my smaller battery ones in my ATV. This 780mAh is a little too big to fit in the storage box of my 4-wheeler. Also, my 6000mAh has a charger port, where you can charge your phone off the battery in and emergency. This is a really nice feature that I wish this 7800mAh had. Hope this information helps you find the product right for you.
