I have had this for a few months now. It is about the same dimensions as my laptop, and it fits neatly into my backpack. It says it is waterproof, but I'm not sure how that works given the ports are just sticking out the side, so I probably won't deliberately leave it plugged in sitting out in the rain (not that there's any sun to use anyway). On a gloomy winter's day I was able to squeeze a few watts out of it, maybe enough to resurrect a dead phone, but now in the spring I get around 45 watts on a sunny day with it laying flat, and I'm up in Buffalo so I'm obviously not going to get ideal amounts. And that's through the USB-C, not the direct DC which may give a bit more. That's enough power to charge my gizmos while out camping, and keeps my portable power banks topped off. It feels well made, is light enough that I can carry it in my backpack every day, and seems pretty durable. I'm happy with it, and I think the price is perfectly reasonable for what you're getting. ... show more

I paired this with an ANKER Power Bank Power Station (60,000mAh) to get me through a Boy Scout summer camp. I used this during the day and it had no problem recharging the power bank during the day. Like all solar panels, you are unlikely to get the full output often. You will get 60w at noon in the summer on a clear day, which is true for any panel, so plan accordingly. I have a Jackery 290 and wanted something to recharge the unit when traveling and away from regular power. I connected it to the Jackery, Latin the panels in the sun, and it charged. Given the size of the panel, that charging speed will be a bit slower than higher wattage systems. It works, and the price was good. ... show more

I had high hopes for this panel due to some reviews on YouTube, but after trying it in various conditions, including fully perpendicular to a clear sky, sunny day, with a USB meter connected, it would only get up to 3W maximum, then power off, then back up to 3W, and repeat. It never, ever, not even once, hit double-digit power output, and wouldn't even be enough to charge an LED flashlight, let alone a phone or my StarLink's battery bank. The design is great, and it claims to have USB-C PD output, but it has nothing of the sort, confirmed with 4 different USB meters, 13 different USB cables, 5 power banks and 2 phones. It has a great packable size. This panel folds down to the size of a small stack of magazines. Bare bones basics keep the weight to a minimum. Charges well when in good sunlight. Beware when the sun goes behind a cloud, as this panel does not prevent it from becoming a load. The wind blew the panel over, and instead of increasing my battery pack from 20% it completely discharged it. ... show more
