I love the subtle smell of this body wash and the soothing lather. It leaves my skin feeling so soft especially after I use the Body Cream, in addition. Don't think you can do any better than this product since it's Fair Trade, no animal testing, chemical free and leaves your body feeling luscious, like you've just come out of a spa.     • Not Great - Not Terrible
I like that this body wash has a mission to reinvest in community and be socially conscious - that's the main reason for three stars instead of two. This is a decent body wash as it does get you clean and it's missing a lot of the chemical ingredients found in many body washes, and it has some certified organic and fair trade ingredients which I find appealing. However, the smell reminds me exactly of some strawberry lemonade powdered Kool-Aid mix I used to make for my son when he was little. It's not a bad smell, it's just not exactly how I like to smell when I step out of the shower. It's also rather thin. When I first squeezed some out onto my leg to shave, the whole blob of it just rolled down into the bathtub and I had to squeeze out some more. This happened a couple of times because I'm generally half asleep before I get my shower and don't think to put it in my cupped hand first. So it's a little bit wasteful on those occasions. It does create decent lather for washing and shaving which is nice. It rinses off well and completely and does not dry out my skin. There are several positive qualities to this body wash as you can see, I am just not overly fond of the scent and the consistency of it. I don't know that I'd buy it again, but I cannot say that I will never buy it again because I might. It wasn't the greatest I've ever used - but it's certainly not the worst either and it does have a good mission statement to help others with its sale, and you can't criticise anything that tries to make the world a better place. I am not going out of my way to recommend this to everyone I know, but I'm not saying to not give it a try, either. I'm kind of in the middle regarding this item because I do like products that leave me smelling fabulous after I bathe and not like a big pitcher of Kool-Aid. Otherwise, I say give it a try, if you don't like it, at least a portion of the purchase price goes to help others... ... show more

This was the first time I used Shea Moisture body washes and it smelled amazing. But it’s not as nourishing to my skin as I would have like it to be.

    • Lovely exfoliating body wash.
I initially found this brand at Ulta and bought a bag of their foot soak salts which smell heavenly and really soften. As I searched their other products I thought I would try this body wash on Amazon. My only disappointments are that that beautiful aroma is not prevalent and it’s not as moisturizing as I’d hoped for. Probably will not replace when empty but not unhappy, will just keep looking. ... show more
