I ordered this after trying a plunger for 30 minutes. The plunger had always been effective in the past, but this clog was apparently a very stubborn one. The POPULO arrived charged up (this was great because we had to use the guest bath toilet overnight - VERY INCONVENIENT) and ready to use. Assembled in 30 seconds, pumped pressure up for another 45 seconds, then... BOOM! It worked perfectly the first time. If I had to call a plumber, it would've been a $75 service call, MINIMUM. I had my doubts but have been dealing with a slow draining toilet for months. Sometimes stopped completely up. I cranked up the toilet gun and hit the trigger it immediately helped. After a really serious clog event a while back (that finally took a visit from Roto-Rooter to fix) I decided that I needed something with more firepower than my old standard issue "plunger". I got tricked into ordering a different air-powered device (that cost more and shipped "someday") from an online store... and had to be charged manually with a bicycle pump! When I discovered this beauty on Amazon (that cost half as much and arrived the next day), I was sold and cancelled the other order. Given the reviews on this Populo unit, THIS is the unit you want to keep around! It's equipped with an internal electric air compressor and rechargeable battery (with a "wall wart" style charger), so there's no need to pump this bad boy up manually... just push the button until the air gauge on the device reaches the proper setting for the type of drain you're working with. It comes with adapters for several drain types, plus one especially designed for toilets. Also included are a cloth "tool bag", instructions, a pair of gloves and two "hair removal" devices to remove accumulated hair from drains without disassembling them. The ONLY thing about this unit I would change is that while there is a plastic cover over the button that operates the compressor, there is NOTHING securing the cover to the unit (except a piece of clear plastic tape applied at the factory) so it's almost certain to fall off and allow anything else in the bag to operate the switch and at very least discharge the battery. I left the cover taped over the switch for now until maybe the manufacturer comes up with a better idea. I'll probably at least replace the tape with a rubber band... ... show more

I love this product. It worked in seconds. After having all my toilets clogged up for months and using regular plunger with luttle succes. The waste will go down but slowly and it it does its clogged again after the next use. Thus plunger worked in seconds and has stayed clogged free now and its the 2nd day after multiple use. This hasn't happened in months. What a relief. Good buy. I will be getting one soon for my sister . ... show more

Buy this now! After using this for the first time, I had immediate movie style flashbacks through decades of wasted time with plungers, frustration, splashback, etc.... This plunger is very simple to use, comes with a lot of accessories and a bag to store it in (I just leave it next to the toilet where the old plunger was). It's battery operated, which is nice. I had thought it was a plugin model and was willing to go with that but what a pleasant surprise! My frustration with my mother-in-law's toilets being elongated with the drain hole having a weird elongated recession makes it practically impossible to use a standard and even those fancy plungers with the sleeve thing that is supposed to help with this. I did a little youtubing and really wanted to try a name brand airplunger - not for hundreds of dollars though! Did a lot of searching on amazon and went with this project, never looking back on traditional plungers now! This plunger completely solves the elongated toilet bowl issue as well as has helped me clear a clog in my kitchen sink. I now feel like I have wasted money on purchasing a super long drain snake when I could have just used this to blast clogs... What are you doing still reading this!
