This is a really nice microscope in a really nice carrying case. The issue that I have with it is the instructions. They are not well written at all. They are horrible and make no sense at all. It comes with a lot of slides which is great. But if you don't know how to use a microscope or it has been years since you have used one then the instructions will not help at all. This microscope works well. It has a selection of magnifications that are easy to switch to. The magnification adjustment is on a 360 degree turn table. Adjust the focus and then fine tune the focus with one knob. Two lights from the bottom and top. Good product and value!
