Features

  • High Power Optical Magnification: Equipped with 4X, 10X, 40X objective lenses, a WF25X eyepiece, and a 2X magnification lens, this compound light microscope delivers versatile zoom settings from 100X up to 2000X. Outperforming standard 100x, 400x, and 1000x entry-level light microscope models, its crystal-clear glass optics allow students and adults to easily inspect biological cells, micro-organisms, and plant tissues in high contrast.
  • Complete Microscope Kit with 28 Slides: Designed as an all-in-one microscope kit (or microscopio set) ready for immediate science experiments out of the box. Includes 10 pre-prepared specimen slides, 18 blank slides for DIY samples, 1 universal phone clip adapter for digital photography, 1 Bluetooth remote camera shutter, and a dedicated power adapterproviding a complete microscope with slides experience for home or lab use.
  • Top & Bottom LED Dual Illumination: Features an adjustable top and bottom LED light system tailored for diverse specimen types. Use the upper light for opaque solid items (offering crisp view for coins and insect wings like a stereo scope) and the bottom light for translucent biological cells. The coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs ensure sharp adjustment superior to basic binocular or monocular setups.
  • Age 8-18 & SGS Safety Certified: SGS certified for non-toxic materials and reliable electrical safety, making it a safe STEM microscope for kids 10-12 (with adult supervision) and an ideal microscope for teens aged 12-18. It perfectly satisfies basic to intermediate biology experiment needs as a trusted microscope for students in middle school and high school classrooms.
  • Versatile Educational STEM Gift: Whether used for homeschooling science projects, classroom teaching, or entry-level research, this model bridges the gap between toy scopes and a heavy professional microscope setup (without the complex costs of an electron microscope). It is a practical, inspiring educational science gift for curious young researchers and a functional microscope for adults and hobbyists.

  • Great value

Really nice microscope for the price! Easy to use, sturdy, and the high magnification is impressive.

  • Entire year of biology classes in a single afternoon
Color: brown
Bought as a gift for 5 year old girl, how did it go? Fantastic, this gadget opened her eyes to the tiny Universe that is all around her. On her journey to learn how to read proficient not only do the views of the organisms fascinate her she is also eager to read the names on each of the slides. Fly leg, horse hair, after reading what they are and seeing the very tiniest parts that make up our world she grabbed a strand of her own hair and said, "This is me? " This gift sparks young minds and older minds alike. Every home should have a high powered microscope, every home! ... show more

  • Solid microscope with great illumination, just mind the lenses
Color: brown
This microscope does everything advertised and works great right out of the box. Setup was straightforward, and the clarity for standard viewing is impressive for the price point. What stood out: USB Light! The included powered light is an amazing addition. It provides plenty of bright, even illumination across specimens, making fine details much easier to see without harsh shadows. Functionality: Performs exactly as specified with smooth basic adjustments and dependable magnification. The drawback: The only reason it loses a star is the lens fit. They can wobble around a bit in the housing if you aren't careful. You definitely need to handle it gently to protect the lenses and avoid bumping them out of alignment during adjustments. Overall, a great value and highly functional microscope. Its well built, and I think the kid version of myself would have loved it even more. go for it. ... show more

  • Even as a toy it underdelivers
I bought this as just a hobby scope and given its price, I didn't expect either a precision instrument or one that came close to the advertised 1200x magnification. What I didn't expect was one that maxed out at just over 100x. The site description says 1x-1200x with zoom. OK, I figured 4x digital zoom so that meant something like 1x-300x optical and probably the scope was going to cheat a bit at the high end but 250x was fine by me. Heck, even if it was 200x I wouldn't be giving this a 1 star review though that clearly isn't close to 300x. When I tested out the magnification using actual measurements, on the low end I got 6x and on the high, 75x. The 6x was driven by the fact that raising the optical tube to its highest position (high=low power, low=high power), I couldn't focus it. Unlike some other similar scopes, focusing isn't done via a wheel on the optical barrel but turning a knob. When the tube was raised to its limit and I turned the focusing knob, I saw the image start to come into focus and then hit the knob limit. It wouldn't have made a huge difference, maybe getting down to 5x but this was just one more bad design flaw. At the high power end of things, I could focus OK but the magnification wasn't there. Then we get to the zoom feature. This is a digital zoom, not optical, so one could achieve the same effect by displaying the image on a larger screen; increase the screen area by 4x and you'd get a picture 4x as large. But the 4x zoom didn't come close to 4x. Again I measured the image on the 7" display and the 4x actually delivered 1.5x enlargement. When the smoke settled, what I got was 6x - 112x, as accurately as I could measure it, vs. 1x - 1200x in the site description and enclosed product documentation. That is unacceptable. That is too far off to deserve anything but a one star rating. As for any pluses... The stage and support were made of metal which surprised me. The microscope was held firmly in place in a mounting ring by two set screws and while I feared the tube would not remain at some given height, this was an unfounded fear in that there was a set screw to hold the tube and attached display at whatever distance from the target desired. The display was suitably bright but seemed washed out to me. I didn't try and take any pictures so I don't know how that function worked. I can't recommend this as performance is way to different from the site description for the manufacturer to get a pass. They should change it to reflect actual performance, say it's a hobby scope for numismatists and philatelists, and work to get the low end performance closer to 1x. People who buy it would then not be disappointed as it would not only match the product description but also would match the buyer's needs. As it is, if you purchase it expecting optical performance to be anywhere close to 1x-300x, I don't see how you won't be disappointed. Update: After posting this review, I received 3 emails asking me to delete the review in return for a $30 Amazon gift card. I responded to the third, explained why I believe the review was accurate, and said their product description should be changed to reflect their product's performance rather than me deleting my review. Since that 13 June 2021 email until today, 8 July, I've received 12 additional emails all asking me to delete my review in return for compensation. I believe what I wrote is an accurate description of the product so I won't be deleting it but do think it's worthwhile posting how aggressively they are trying to make this review disappear. ... show more

  • Fine for basics, Not completely happy
Color: brown
I mean if you want something that looks like a microscope and view things closer you can buy this, but as someone with experience with actual light microscopes this microscope is kinda lame and lacking. The pieces are confusing. Wish it had a finer focusing knob and a movable viewing platform to locate the specimen easier. I am using it just to practice working with slides and viewing specimens under a microscope which this does okay but wish it was a little better/higher quality but for price what can you expect. ... show more
