The lense quality prevents you from clearly seeing anything at the heights power settings. But the low and medium look good enough. Also the lack of a fine tune knob makes it even harder to get a clear picture. But it should be good enough for my purpose. The photos are of the human red blood cells slide that was included. I ordered this microscope after having my koi fish that I had for over 8 years get sick and I needed to have a way to do a scrape and see what parasites were causing them to die. I was a little hesitant about using a microscope since I hadnt used one since I was in high school. This microscope was easy to use, packaged nicely, and did the job I wanted it to. Even though I lost the majority of my koi, I was able to save three of them by finding flukes/costia parasites and treated accordingly. Thank you so much!!! ... show more

my 8 year old loves this microscope it works qell comes wirh entertaining slides and slides to make your own. it feels sturdy and the magnification is great better than those toys u find in store. my only complaint is that the knob on the left side is a little hard to tuen it just takes some effort and even my 8 year old sometimes can't and needs help. the light works well its bright and you can see your objects very clearly. great learning tool ... show more
