  • An excellent microscope, suitable for both children and adults.
Style: SW350B
This microscope is awesome! My son was so excited to get it for his birthday and hasn't put it down since. The image quality is surprisingly good for the price, and it's really easy to use. We've already looked at everything from onion skin to bugs from the backyard. Highly recommend this for any budding young scientist! ... show more

  • Very Good 'Scope' at This Price Point
Style: SW350B
At a little over $200 this is a gem. Solidly made with lots bells and whistles like adjustable brightness, 360 degree rotating head, 2 sets of eyepieces (10x/25x), parfocal objectives (mostly) etc. It even comes with a couple of polarizing disks you can put over the eyepieces to make a poor man's polarizing microscope. My only niggle is the aperture adjustment for the light is a little flimsy and of limited range. I did not try the oil immersion lens. I'll just add it's amazing how often you can get a good idea of the quality of the product by how carefully it's wrapped. It's perfect for the high-school biology student. My grand-daughter loves it. ... show more

  • Everything works great except the camera and customer service
Style: SW350B+5MP Camera
Great microscope for at home fun at a good price. I had issues getting the camera connected and eventually gave up. About 6 months later I finally decided to try again and I reached out to the seller through Amazon and they were responsive and able to help me resolve my issue. Originally I tried emailing them directly, which I do not recommend as they were unresponsive. ... show more

  • Great Objectives Well Built and Overall Great
Style: SW350B
I’ve gone on 6 hour round trips to the ocean and everywhere in between to see all sorts of organisms, great for modifications and improvements. Solid interior prevents damage to the lighting components, the adjustment knobs are smooth and operate well, as well as the mechanical stage, comes with a bag and oil, overall great microscope with a relatively affordable price, fluorescent objectives cost more than the microscope lol ... show more

  • Works great and good customer care !
Style: SW350B
I was excited when this microscope arrived. But unfortunately when I opened it and plug it in the light never turn on. So disappointed. Update : The company contacted me and kindly sent me a new one, the light works fine, yay! Now that I tried it I could say that this is a good quality microscope , easy to use , with clear and wide lens that are easy to focus. I really like it and can’t wait to look at more things and explore. I attached some photos I took using the microscope. ... show more

  • Easy to use but lots of aberration
Style: SW350B
I bought this microscope to introduce my 4th grade son to microbiology. He can use it after several practice. The only downside is spherical aberration, image distortion around the center. Only 30% of the view is in focus. If you are a hobbyist or researcher who sits all day long with this microscope, maybe this is not for you. I already had a headache after 45 minutes of using it. You get what you pay for. ... show more
