The first one we bought was three years old when we recently replaced it and still in functioning condition. We were amazed as our pool tech said it was still ok but since we believe in preventative maintenance to ensure no problems with our Pentair equipment, we had him install the new one. Very satisfied with the Pool Pure filter's performance and durability. We will definitely keep buying POOL PURE filters in the future!

My pool cleaning company recommended this filter for my pool it's my 2nd filter in 3 and 1/2 years and it does a fantastic job keeping my pool clean my pool company said it is very well made and can withstand our Florida long days of 12 hour filtering.

Tried other less expensive brands that felt flimsy and one didn't even fit over the center core because the center was less than 6 inches. The manufacturer needed proof in pictures with a ruler and it was a pain to return since it took so long. I paid a bit more for this one and it feels solid and not flimsy at all, and it fit over the 6 inch core perfectly. As long as this brand is available, I will continue to buy if the it maintains its stability over time. They should last at least 2 years even in South Florida!
