This clay press is perfect if you are just starting out or only the occasional crafter. I will be upgrading soon, but it works for now. My chief issues are the limited number of thickness settings and the fact that the handle is constantly falling off. If you don't use it often, it would be a great value purchase for you, but if you want something more durable, spend the extra money. ... show more

The product did not come with instructions. The crank handle does not stay in place. It falls off. At least a dozen added loose pieces. I have no clue what they are used for. No helpful hints or suggestions.

What I like: - the price - it’s a nice size - it’s easy to attach to a counter or table - came with a lot of circle cutters that are very helpful - easy to store with its box, not heavy or bulky What I don’t like: - DOESNT COME WITH ANY INSTRUCTIONS! Watch YouTube videos before you use. I didn’t realize I had to roll it down pretty thin before hand, otherwise it gets stuck in the machine and ruins the clay. - hard to clean. - the handles come off, which is nice for storage, but then it falls off every now and then ... show more

You get what you pay for... Which is to say the quality is NOT great at all, but it does the job. The handle absolutely does not stay on which is super annoying, but again, does the job.

This product is a little on the cheaper side… mine did break after a few uses where you adjust the thickness… but I still use it. This is the second type of clay roller I’ve bought and it is cheaper in feel and in use than the other one I ordered from Sculpey…if your a beginner this is great until your ready to graduate to a better one. ... show more
