I've been using mine for 8-9 months and it works fine. I notice some reviews commented the handle comes off easily and they wished they'd bought an electric one. You can purchase a motor for this one for $17 at Hobby Lobby. I'm pleased with mine.

After using the pasta maker for ONE WEEK to condition clay, the knob that adjusts the width broke off. It could be a simple fix, but because of how it is built, it couldn’t be fixed. I demanded a replacement from the company that was shipped quickly and included all items although I only needed a replacement pasta machine. After two weeks of used the new machine knob broke off on exactly the same way as the first. Now returning and I’ll go with another brand. Also, the second machine left line imprints on my clay. I guess you get what you pay for. It isn't too bad, but the handle will not stay on. It came with no instructions. There is some wording on the outside of the box, but I don't speak whatever language that is.

One star because it looked so beat up and the chemical fumes were so bad, it just was not good at all. I havent even used it yet because the fumes gave me such a horrible headache, I had to take some ibuprofen and lay down. Screw this. I would return it, but I dont even want to go near it to touch it. I just started working with polymer clay. This was bought to help me condition clay before modeling it. For conditioning it works very well. It has several different settings for thickness which I like doing mine very thin. The downfall to this is the attaching clamp is very poor and won't hold it tight enough to both feed and crank at the same time. I have to hold the machine with one hand and crank. I mounted the machine to a board and clamp it down to the bench that way. ... show more
