I haven't disassembled it to give it a proper cleaning yet, but it does well cleaning without needing to be taken a part each time and still get a good clean sheet of clay out of it. I've been using mine for 8-9 months and it works fine. I notice some reviews commented the handle comes off easily and they wished they'd bought an electric one. You can purchase a motor for this one for $17 at Hobby Lobby. I'm pleased with mine.

They hold up well. Very easy to clean the items, pasta roller functions well, very easy and simple to use. One star because it looked so beat up and the chemical fumes were so bad, it just was not good at all. I havent even used it yet because the fumes gave me such a horrible headache, I had to take some ibuprofen and lay down. Screw this. I would return it, but I dont even want to go near it to touch it. I just started working with polymer clay. This was bought to help me condition clay before modeling it. For conditioning it works very well. It has several different settings for thickness which I like doing mine very thin. The downfall to this is the attaching clamp is very poor and won't hold it tight enough to both feed and crank at the same time. I have to hold the machine with one hand and crank. I mounted the machine to a board and clamp it down to the bench that way. ... show more
