This set of tongs has two tines spot welded to each arm. This is designed to allow for the minimum contact with the surface of what you pick up with the tongs. The first time this item arrived one of the spot welds holding the tines to the arm was broken. I reported this to the seller who sent a replacement. When I used the replacement for the first time, one of its welds also broke. Very poor quality! ... show more
