I purchased the coat in Black XXL , I am 5’ 175 bust 44 , I like room in the chest area which XXL provides for my size . I knew purchasing a maxi at my height it would require alterations which I’m fine with because I purchased the coat for 53.00 if I have to spend a little for alterations I still feel like I got a huge bargain. Did I mention how heavy the coat is ,,, it is heavy, heavy, heavy which will be perfect for the cold North East windy days . I like the double breast buttons they serve as style and also a double barrier to defend the wind. The cinched waist adds a touch of style that I wasn’t expecting. I’m most happy with the sturdy zipper. I don’t foresee any problems with this zipper coming off track or getting stuck. Overall this was an excellent purchase. I know this coat will last for many years. I probably will never have to buy another winter maxi 👍🏽 P.S. Don’t go by the size chart it’s inaccurate in bust measurements. I am 5'2 ,115 pounds I purchased an xs. The color was army green. I love this jacket the fit is perfect I was looking for a longer jacket because I'm a shorter person and I get cold very easily and this jacket definitely does its trick. The only issue I have with this jacket is like the review said the zipper is so cheap and I had instant problems trying to get it zipped from the moment I put it on . You have to be patient and go really slow it's definitely a made in China zipper almost plasticky. So you have to slowly guide it up it will take a moment to get it zipped. I won't return it because I do think the quality of the jacket is very good and it is very warm and the fit is just so perfect on me for the price I will however have to take it to the cleaners and have a new zipper put on it.

I am so disappointed that I do not get to own this Polydeer long Coat! The sizing is all wrong it runs large as I ordered a medium and it was to big so I ordered a small and I could not even zip it!!?? I immediately reordered within 24hrs and the mocha was sold out in the small so I had to change colors to the green and the small I could not even zip up !!? WHY the extreme difference? It was like an XS! SO.. I reordered in the red as the option for the mocha and the green were sold out and the coat is longer which was fine with me I only wear long coats and the style was slightly different but cute and it is PAPER THIN! LIKE THEY LEFT OUT THE VEGAN DOWN! the color was a nice soft red however this would not keep me warm on a cool summer night let alone IN THE WINTER. I am beyond annoyed and my hunt for a NEW LONG COAT for this year has come to an end sadly to say.

I was looking for a longer coat to keep me warm during my boy's football practices and games. I was very excited to find a long coat for less than $150 with decent reviews, glad I gave it a go. The length is perfect, on my 5'2", the XL comes down to upper-mid calf. The XL is a little snug on my 200lb frame, no room for layers or a sweater but it is very warm with even just a long sleeve t-shirt under. Won't be returning. The ability to unzip from the bottom is a necessity for me, otherwise you destroy the zipper. This zipper works smoothly so far. I wouldn't call this lightweight, it has the heft of of a down jacket, but is not too heavy. The hood is nice, the faux fur trim is very soft, not itchy like some out there. The hood is removable, which is a benefit. From past experience, make sure you remove the hood before washing/drying as the fur will melt and look not nice. Be sure to air-dry the hood or dry on a low or no-heat setting.

I am writing this review after approximately one year of owning this item. Last year, while searching for a new winter coat, I had three criteria in mind: 1. Full-length, 2. A cruelty-free alternative to down feathers, and 3. Warm. A lengthy pursuit ensued to find a single coat to satisfy the first two criteria alone. Finally, I stumbled upon this coat by Polydeer. I was skeptical; the coat looked good and sounded good, but the price was so low that I wasn't expecting high quality or warmth. After owning this coat for approximately one year, I can say confidently that this is my favorite coat. Ever. It fits true to size and is a flattering shape. The Bordeaux color is gorgeous. I like that the coat includes a hood (the faux-fur trim is removable if it's not your style) that provides enough coverage to protect from wind and precipitation. Best of all, this coat is WARM. When I get cold, I'm cold -- I'm talking chilled-to-the-bone, throw-me-into-a-fire-pit-to-warm-up COLD. So, imagine my surprise when I started sweating in this coat. It's actually so warm that I can't wear it unless it's close to freezing temperatures or I'll get overheated. I don't even understand how this coat... works... because it doesn't feel bulky or heavy, yet it feels like I'm wrapped up in a pile of blankets with a cup of hot chocolate. Anyway, I'm not going to question this magical gift from the winter overlords; I'm just going to keep enjoying this coat and maybe even purchase one in another color. Highly, highly recommended.

I love the styling, the button detailing, the inside pocket and the color. I originally ordered the Small size based on recommendation, it was too small. I'm 5'8' 132lbs, so it was tight through the shoulders. I returned it, got the medium and the fit is good. Sadly it isnt water resistant as stated, I worn it during a steady light rain and it soaked through the lining. The snaps are very difficult to close where the decorative buttons are. When the temp is below 40, I have to add several layers to build warm. Definitely not meant for true winter.
