We shopped around hard, and could not find a couch that beat this one in price, style, and sturdiness! We opted for 2 couches rather than a sectional, just in case we move someday — we didn’t want to be attached to a right or left hand sectional. PLUS, the sectional was $1000 more, whereas a second couch was an additional $600, and offers a lot more seating. Pros: - Easy to assemble - Leather is thick and luxurious. Not at all plasticy feeling! - The single cushion seat is heaven for naps - Shipping was fast and easy Cons: - Seat is a little firm — it’s not a “bouncy” couch at all. BUT — the trade off is a high clearance under the couch, which I love. It makes my smallish living room feel a lot airier. - Can scuff, scratch, or stain easily. Again though, this the trade off of a buttery leather — it’s not soaked in plastic. I think all the buffs and scuffs just make it look endearingly worn in. ... show more

I was VERY nervous about buying a relatively expensive couch online without being able to sit on it and test it out - of course my first choice would be to go to a local store and find something there first. However, I recently purchased my first home and when it came time to furnishing, I ran into the same problem that many others are experiencing right now - low to no inventory and long delays! I found the Napa Chaise Sectional during one of my many furniture searches and fell in love. I did extensive research through Poly and Bark’s social media and BBB page to make sure they were legit and bit the bullet and I’m so happy I did! First of all it’s super easy to put together; it comes in two pieces with the legs and cushions unattached - but the box is a major pain in the butt to get rid of (obviously it needs to be a very heavy duty box to protect the couch, which it successfully did, but just know that you’ll probably need access to a dumpster to totally dispose of it in a timely manner). Wow this couch is stunning in person. The cognac color is exactly as pictured, of course with some variation as it’s real top-grain leather. The leather is super smooth and buttery but it also feels incredibly durable. I have a 35 lb dog that I allow up on the furniture and while I have half of the couch covered with a blanket, of course he prefers the uncovered side - he has superficially scuffed up the leather here and there but it doesn’t bother me at all, it just kind of goes with the look in my opinion. The couch is super comfortable and long (to be fair I’m only 5’1” ha). I love stretching out on the chaise. I can’t speak to durability as I’ve only had this couch for a few weeks but I will absolutely update this review after I’ve really broken the couch in. ... show more

Took the risk on buying online and so glad I did! Love that it only has 1 bottom cushion and it has the perfect firmness. Leather seems to be good quality and I love the cognac color. I get tons of compliments! Would highly recommend this couch!

Received my blue leather couch on time and packaged very well. My couch was easy to put together. It took a friend and I only 15min to assemble...and took twice as long to break down the cardboard. The legs were cleverly concealed in a zip pouch under the seat. I initially wanted the Apt sized couch, but waited too long. This full size will work fine though. The leather is soft and supple. We bought this sectional in December of 2020 and it arrived in January 2021 quickly and safely packaged. The separate pieces are easy to bring in and assemble with two people. We wanted a real leather sectional because we figured it would be easy to upkeep with two kids and a dog (who is generally not allowed on furniture but does shed quite a bit). PROS: Very affordable for a real leather sectional of this size. Comparable sofas were 2x the cost. Color is beautiful and goes with a variety of home decor styles. It does look very high end. Easy to dust / wipe off pet hair. Easy to assemble and lightweight if you want to rearrange. CONS: Stains incredibly easily. Even if you wipe up a spill immediately expect to have a spot that lasts forever. I’ve tried several leather cleaners and conditioners with minimal luck. Our previous genuine leather couch never had this problem and is still spotless after 8 years. The cushions are not reversible. Because of this you can clearly see the popular sitting spots are worn down without the option to rotate the cushions. You can see on my image of the chaise portion that we currently have it flipped backwards to even out the cushion. All they would have needed to do was extend the leather down the back a couple more inches to make them reversible. Overall I do like the way the couch looks in our home but would ultimately not recommend it to anyone who expects this sofa to look clean and immaculate after a few months of use. We'd gotten the larger sofa a few years ago and finally decided to round out the living room by getting the smaller one. It's just as beautiful - the leather is just as nice and soft and the quality is excellent. It really does pay to spend more to get quality. The only issue was that since we waited so long (almost 4 years) to get the smaller sofa, the dye lot was slightly different so the colors are not quite the same. This is to be expected.
