This page says women's 7 = men's 6, but most US conversion charts say that a women's 7.5 is a men's 6. I went with the listed "women's 7 / men's 6" and it fit my 7.5 feet PERFECTLY--in fact, the inside of the shoe even says 38, which is an EU 7.5. Glad I went with my gut on sizing! So if you're a man, it'll fit true to size. If you're a woman, use the men's size and look up US conversion charts. I believe all the sizes are accurate except for the women's 6 and women's 7. Here's the sizing chart that worked for me: EU 35.5 / men's 4 /women's 5.5 EU 36 / men's 4.5 /women's 6 EU 37 / men's 5 /women's 6.5 EU 37.5 / men's 5.5 /women's 7 EU 38 / men's 6 /women's 7.5 (me) EU 38.5 / men's 6.5 /women's 8 EU 39 / men's 7 /women's 8.5 EU 40 / men's 7.5 /women's 9 EU 41 / men's 8 /women's 9.5 EU 42 / men's 8.5 /women's 10 Etc etc... With the "women's 7 / men's 6", my 7.5 feet were able to fit perfectly with regular warm socks (no cramping or pressure); I could get away with slightly thicker socks too. If you wanted to wear double layers of thick wool socks or something I would size up, but otherwise the US conversion charts should fit accurately. The interior of the boot is completely lined with a cozy fuzzy material to keep your feet warm. The exterior is a smooth material with a matte finish. The boot goes a little higher than your ankle, and the laces also go higher up than a regular sneaker, allowing you to fit the boot really snugly above your ankles. The sole has good traction, although it's not winter yet and I haven't tested it with snow or ice. Each boot weighs .828 lbs--heavy enough to be durable, but light enough that your feet don't get tired. Overall very pleasantly surprised with the quality and comfort of these boots! If I remember, I'll try to add pics once I'm able to use them in harsher winter conditions. ... show more

I was searching for waterproof winter boots and these came up as “water resistant” and cheap and good looking. I am a shoe snob and would not ordinarily order an off-brand but it was late at night and there were (literally) 10,000+ reviews and free returns and I thought what the heck. When they arrived I almost didn’t try them on. They are not leather and they look like dull brown plastic. But, again, what the heck they’re here so I might as well try them on. The insole is not removable so I just put my orthotics in on top of the existing thin fuzzy insole. There is plenty of room in the size 9.5 for my size 9.5 wide feet and my orthotics and, with my orthotics, the boots are remarkably comfortable. I’m still in the wearing them around the house phase but I think I’m going to keep them! They will be good winter dog walking shoes and will probably keep my feet warm and dry through a light snow which is all we usually get in Oklahoma. PRO: comfortable and warm, heavy duty sole CON: NOT waterproof - the tongue is not gusseted so water will come in from the top if you step in a puddle. Look like plastic. ... show more

I bought head for a weeklong white Christmas trip to Banff, Alberta, Canada from hot, dry North Texas! These boots were so comfortable and warm. They were completely waterproof and withstood -6’ F! They were perfect for walking on and in snow! I can’t recommend these with more enthusiasm!

Pros first: I like(d) the way they look—great for hiking, but would look good with jeans or leggings, too. And they are fairly comfortable. It only took one day of wearing them around the house to break them in, and the lining makes it great for hiking in winter. I have Reynaud’s (like 25% of all women), and my feet are literally always cold. But hiking in these boots on a 50°F day, my feet weren’t that cold…which is impressive, when you have Reynaud’s. Finally, it’s great for ankle support. The whole reason I bought these is because I sprained my ankle coming back from a steep incline on a somewhat strenuous trail (ie as I stepped from boulder to boulder, I underestimated the depth and stepped down too hard); once the sprain had fully healed, I went on the same hike wearing these boots. Huge difference. They’re comfortable, but sturdy. My feet and ankles didn’t roll at all. Here is the only downside—as you can see in the pic, the first and only time (so far) I hiked wearing these boots, the tops creased. I guess maybe the moderate inclines I was hiking caused more pressure? 🤷🏻♀️ Even so, it isn’t a huge deal, but I have a feeling I will have to replace these boots a lot sooner than I would’ve had I not been a cheapskate and picked these based on a “deal of the day” sale. And now that I see how they look under hospital lights (getting an infusion…which is why I’m writing this now—I’m bored lol), I can see how noticeable it is. For hiking, I don’t really care as much about aesthetics, but before this crease, I liked the way they looked and planned on wearing them with jeans, too, but…guess not. If you don’t take strenuous hikes, this probably won’t be a problem. But, dude—they’re HIKING boots, not old-lady-walking-laps-in-the-mall boots. I’m okay with them for now, but when I replace them, I’ll probably buy a more expensive, better made brand. ... show more

I am so darn happy with these boots. They're not very feminine looking, but they will keep your feet warm, they won't get wet in the snow, and believe it or not. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. I'm not wearing them for the compliments, I'm wearing them for the comfort and the protection from the cold. They're lined with furry stuff.
