Beautiful, well crafted sofa. The leather is thick and high quality. Assembly took 10min. Sofa was packed very well and all the parts were there. The sofa is very well built, no issues there. The sit is a tad firm but I would assume it will get softer once broken in. I did have to condition/ oil the leather as it was pretty dry out of the box. It took about 30min with some leather conditioner. Otherwise fantastic sofa. Wish it was a little less expensive but I'm satisfied. The only concern I have is the warranty after the 1 yr mfg warranty. Not sure how much I trust the sellers warranty. You will not get an extended warranty from Poly and Bark, I called them to confirm.

I have two other couches from poly and bark so I’m familiar with them. This couch feels nicer because it’s deeper and the seat slopes back slightly. I also love the soft black color. Easy to assemble- just screw on the legs.

The Essex in black is perfect. Low back makes it visually smaller but plenty of room to stretch out. Very firm seat. Leather is as high quality as my sofa that cost 4x as much. Was packaged well. No complaints!

First of all, I had been looking for a Chesterfield leather sofa for some time and wanted something made out of real leather. Everything out there seemed very expensive until I found this one. The leather is gorgeous, and the finish is top notch. It's a wonderful value for your money because it is real leather, you can smell it. I'm expecting it to last for years to come. Delivery was super fast and setting it up was easy. Other sofas from Poly and Bark look fantastic too so I will probably buy some others as well. The size is a little big so bear that in mind if you have a small space.

The media could not be loaded. Looks and feels like a couch 2x the price. I have a CB2 couch that is exactly the same in brown and I paid $4k for it and it took 3 months to get in. I know the color may vary a bit, and I’m not really complaining, but the one I got isn’t exactly an inky black. Closer to a dark, dusty charcoal gray with a hint of blue. Actually quite an amazing color but if you insist on limousine leather black, you may not get that color. And I’m not sure I like the brown legs but that’s just a design choice; those can be replaced or painted easily. Belgian Malinois for scale ;)
