I have had the Polono PL60 for about a year now and it has made a great addition to my work space. I use it to print shipping labels almost daily and have experienced no issues and the printer continues to work perfectly. Printing is super-fast, taking less than a second to print each label. I use the fanfold labels. The labels are easy to peel off and stick to envelopes, packaging, etc. and the adhesive is very strong. The design and overall look of the printer is quite attractive and the purple color looks nice. The printer is also compact and doesn't take up much desk space. Set-up was a breeze. Simply plug in the printer to a computer with the included USB cable, download the driver from the Polono website and the printer is ready to print in just a few moments. I'm so in love with this thermal printer. It was so easy to set-up and use and hasn't let me down yet. I've printed everything from shipping labels to labels for organization and even packing slips and black and white stickers. It prints out batch labels super fast so just be ready for the labels when the print out. You can use blank UPS shipping labels if you have them. If connecting as your main printer, just be sure to select the 3 x 5.9 option so your labels come out the right proportion. Also, make sure you cover when not in use as dust will affect the print quality. If that happens you can easily open the machine and gently wipe clean with a dry microfiber and then try your print again. Highly recommend! ... show more

This printer is extremely easy to set up and use. Everything you need to know is on the included USB. The size is compact enough where it can fit on your desk and the set up is quick and easy. I encountered no problems with installation and finished in about 10 minutes. Is was compatible with both my windows laptop and my apple imac. The calibration was also easy and once I did so all of my labels were centered perfectly. The print quality is clear as long as the picture/label you are trying to print is also clear. I tested it with both labels and simple black and white images and they both worked. It prints extremely fast as promised and so far I've had no paper jams. I love this because now I don't have to waste money on buying ink for a regular printer and I don't have to go somewhere and pay to print labels anymore. Great addition for any small business. It doesn't come with the labels but I bought that on the side for relatively cheap. Overall a great user friendly thermal printer and worth the price! ... show more

My wife and I run a small business, and we've held off buying a thermal printer for so long because we weren't sure which brand to get. I saw this printer was fairly new to the market, but getting great reviews so I figured I'd try it, and if all else failed, simply return it. However, I have no intent on returning this printer because it's speedy, simple, and sleek. I went from having to put shipping labels into an inkjet, then cutting them to size, to simply clicking "print" on the computer and watching the labels print out! This printer has greatly increased our efficiency to ship out orders and I LOVE it! I will say that that using the printer might be slightly daunting to someone who isn't the most fluent with computers, but it can be learned! No regrets at all! ... show more

I’ve had this printer for about 2 years, hardly used it but took great care of it and cleaned it thoroughly as mentioned on their website for troubleshooting. Only have the label was printing. I contacted customer service, and they said they only cover warranty for 1 year. That part is fine with me, but they proceeded to tell me that once it prints about 30km labels, it will die! During my 2 years of having this printer, I used it to print approximately 100 labels. If I just paid $50 more bucks, I could have bought a more reliable printer…I do not recommend buying this, purchase a different product that won’t have unnecessary technical issues! ... show more

This has to be the best printer I've ever used in more than 30 years of computing. Too bad it's only being used for my 4 x 6 labels, but nonetheless the performance is just beyond fantastic. Printing is instantaneous, and quality is great.

When I use the default setting I can't print a 4x6 label. I had to make a custom 4 x 5.97 label. This makes it print the entire label. If you take the defaults it will only print half the label. Anyway, it was easy to connect, turn on, and install the driver. But getting it set up to print once I had it set up was a total bear, but I finally figured out. Kind of like trying to figure out how to use your Costco card and pay with a different card at the pump. There are eight different ways to do it, but only one works. ... show more
