I purchased this Ebike on 7/13, it arrived 7/18, good delivery time. BUT, what I recieved is not what was pictured. The Bike I recieved has steel rims with wire spokes, NOT, alloy wheels which are stronger. Currently in conversation with Polarna Ebike to see if the situation can be resolved, but so far not working out. UPDATE - At this point 8/8/22 Polarna EBike, is still saying the steel rims with spokes was an up grade. No further explanation or discussion on their point, only thing they are willing to say, is it was an upgrade, which in my opinion it was not - but rather a downgrade. UPDATE - 8/17/2022 An agreement was reached with seller, CASPORTS, not completley to my satisfaction but at least some compromise. I have put some miles on the bike and really enjoy it, good performance. I still would have prefered the alloy rims, but "it is what it is" I Guess. I have ridden bicycles since a youngster with steel rims and wire spokes. ... show more

    • If you are considering a Hyperscorpion e-bike; STOP! Heavily Consider the Polarna M4 instead!

Ok; so I've never owned a e-bike, nor seriously ridden one before and was really hesitant on dropping $1,000+ on a e-bike (especially some seldom heard, overseas model sold on Amazon). I really wanted to buy a brand with a bajillion reviews that was sold. I had my eyes on the Juiced Bikes Hyper-scropion; but there was one problem... the sticker price was $2,799! (why on earth would I pay that much for bike when I can put that towards a car down payment?!?!) After much research online and comparing over 7 bikes on Amazon; I came to the conclusion that I'd splurge on the Polorna M4 (which, granted, was more then I wanted, but the ratings were good and the features were extremely similar for the Hyper-scorpion...) This bike is AWESOME and I don't regret dropping the few hundred extra dollars! Features; Super cool rims Fat tires (which make that awesome, loud hum wherever you ride!) Nice cargo rack (perfect for saddlebags or a seat!) All-around, off-road suspension (amazingly soft once you break it in) Nice streamlined, clean body; with the battery encased in the frame Disc brakes Brake light (lights up when you pull the brakes) Bright headlight (which will automatically turn on in dark areas and turn off in bright areas; super handy!) A loud horn (perfect for those drivers that don't pay attention or in emergencies) 8-speed Shimano (with upshift and downshift paddle shifters; you can even downshift 2 gears, if need be) USB plug (never used it yet; plan on connecting a bluetooth speaker for music) Memory foam (or some insanely soft material?) seat Nice bright LED screen that dims in dark environments Easy-to-use PAS (speed) controls Thumb throttle And the whole thing folds! Speed stats; The Amazon listing says that the bike's top speed is 32 MPH and my bike easily reached that speed (I'm 5'12" and 159 pounds) with me, saddlebags, an insulated bike bag, U-lock and cable, Bible, waterproof cover, reflective vest and bungee cords! The fastest speed I have gone is 34 MPH! I did have to replace the rear inner tube (wish it was a slime tube) when I rode over a fat thorn or something, but I do ride this bike over rough terrain everyday of the week (plus, I had put over 100 miles on the bike by then), so fair enough. In short, if you want a loaded bike that is wicked fast (in my opinion!) and is more then capable of toting you around, heavily consider this bike! I've beat up mine for the past 3 weeks and put OVER 200 miles on it so far (it is filling in for my "car"), consider the Polarna M4! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've tried my fair number of electric bikes as a fervent rider, but POLARNA's electric bike truly stands out from the competition. In addition to being efficient at delivering a comfortable ride on flat ground, the twin spring shock absorbers also make traveling on bumpy roads seem easy. The hydraulic braking system is very excellent and provides the crucial safety element required in emergency scenarios. I especially appreciate how simple it is for me to control different riding circumstances on my ebike. The bike's motor helps me in every circumstance, providing the required boost to continue moving forward with the least amount of effort, whether I'm cruising up a hill or racing down one. It's like having a bike-riding personal assistant! The electric bike from POLARNA has, all in all, exceeded my expectations in every way. Cycling on it is unrivaled since it is dependable, strong, and useful. I would unquestionably give this bike a five-star rating and would strongly advise it to anyone searching for a high-quality electric bike. I've bought a M4 and after few rides I've started to listening a sound like a grinding metal noise. At first I thought that was the chain. after a few check I saw the PEDAL CRANK left side touching the frame. Another complain is the front brake. Too loud and is not 100 % stoppable.
